Noticed this at the bottle shop today. Can't find anything about it other than general details. Looks like an oak aged sour saison. Brewed and bottled to help tornado victims. No reviews. Interested to try it anyway but I wanted to see if anyone else has tried it or had any info at all about it. Seems odd that an oak aged anything wouldn't be talked about somewhere!

Apparently, yes. I assumed the last letter was an A. So did a lot is other sites I found that had label and released info. Oh well. I hate how hard their labels are to read sometimes!

The script on that bottle is super hard to read, my local store had a labeled tag underneath the bottle. Made it easier.

De Viento is an oak-aged coffee saison, JP oak ages 100% of their beers. They made it to benefit victims of a tornado that damaged the village where their main brewery is in Dexter, MI. the actual brewery wasn't affected at all and incredibly not one person was injured, but there was a lot of damage to homes and businesses. There is a video on YouTube where Ron is talking about the beer, I don't have a link though, sorry.

Coffee Saison...interesting and delicious. Not my favorite JP beer, but definitely solid. Beadulaire Beer was enjoyed even more...Saison w/hibiscus, rose petals, and rose hips. La Roja and Oro de Calabaza are still my favs.
