JP - Bam Bière

    I found some bottles at a slow moving local store with batch (I think) 600- bottled in 2010.
    Any body had one of these from this year or batch lately? didnt see any reviews recently.

    I wouldn't buy them, most aged JP stuff isn't as good fresh, especially Bam.

    I had a Madrugada Obscura from 1/11 about 2 months ago. I thought it was delicious. I really dont have a fresh batch to compare it too but i can say that it was very tart up front (cherryish tart, IMO) but the back end really shined those imp stout qualities.

    Then again this is a totally different style.

    I really like Weizen Bam with some time on it. La Roja can be hit or miss. I've never purchased Bam Bier that was fresh-ish.

    never had bam aged but my first jp was 2008 luciernaga last year and it was delightful.
