July 4th Brewery Tours - Michigan

    My wife and I were looking at doing a trip to Michigan the 4th of July weekend. Specifically looking at Founders, New Holland, Dark Horse, and Vivant as well as Virtue Cider. Does anyone know if the breweries are planning on being open on the 4th of July which falls on a Saturday this year?

    Im almost certain all will be closed on fourth of july. Founders may be open

    Vivant will be open, asked them on twitter a month or so back because we are driving thru to TC on the 4th and wanted to stop there for lunch.

    My experience is any place actually open on 4th of July has minimal staff and average tap lists. I'd go the days leading up if possible.
