Seriously, one of the biggest beer surprises I had last year. Knew nothing about it before drinking it.

2 releases of cr. only b2 made it stateside without going through an online site. b2 was significantly larger in volume. wouldn't call it an every other year release, but it may be. idk.

That sounds about right. I think within a week, I came home with a couple of four packs of BCBS, several bottles of Bomb! and Abyss, and a bottle each of Caracture and Vintage.

The rib was not too happy.

There's still Caractere Rouge sitting on shelves from last year in Fort Worth...I think. I know I saw some at least a few months ago at one of the Specs.

Ya I bought Rouge or Vintage or maybe both the same day I bought Abyss at a CM. The distributor guys were funny and were wanting me to shield the bottles as I left. No one cares about Rodenbach as evidence of bottles still chillin. All the beers are great so whatever. More for those in the know.

Is there much Saison D'erpe-Mere in the Dallas area? I can't believe we get Glazen Toren now.

It's in the B United portfolio, so it should be Favorite

Not the Stoic can be found in Dallas. Saw it at WF Lakewood and another little shop today.

CR came in a week or two ago here in GA, so I wouldn't soubt it.

ALSO, it's fucking amazing. I've bought 4 bottles at $19-$20 each; that's not something I usually do.

I agree, yeah. I've bought like 6ish bottles total and they tend to be between 22 and 25 here. Absolutely ridiculous stuff.

At that price, it's a steal IMO. $25 was harder to justify

I guess that beer is a little cheaper here, on average. I'd take having Texas' selection (and no ABV cap :|) any day over that, though .

ABV caps make zero sense when you can buy liquor.

Yeah, no shit :slight_frown:. I can buy fucking Everclear, but to try and get BCBS at the same store? Nnnnnnnooooooooooo. Thankfully it comes out right after Thanksgiving while I'll usually be out of town.

Also thankful for the return of Vanilla. I am going to spend so much fucking money this Black Friday.
