    Did a side by side of KBS last night. '13 v. '16.

    While the flavors generally were more muted in the '13, the bourbon was aligned to my liking as well as the total fade of heat. Traditionally as a standalone fresh KBS does not have an intolerable level of burn but in side by side with '13 it stood out negatively. '13 took the cake with a super smooth, chocolatey taste with bourbon undertones.
