An IPA with a lot of hops and wheat is going to be hazy and murky. Embrace it and don't worry to much about clarity on your first beer.

I was gonna add some pectic enzyme because I put mangoes and pineapples pre boil and I didn't realize I wasn't supposed to till after it happened. Is that alright?

Can't comment, never used fruit! If it smells good, tastes good, and doesn't make bottles explode, then it will be successful.

honestly this has been an awesome and very positive experience for me. I love how proactive it is. I loved running around and trying to find all these great beers but once i got them and drank them with friends it high was gone. I get so excited everytime i hear that airlock glug. I currently keep it right by my bed lol (I don't mind sleeping in 65-68degrees ).

Hey man I have to say, you really went for gold on your first one and I commend you for it. I didn't have the cojones to do something like that. Even if it isn't what you want this time it sounds like you're on your way to some good ones.

    Cheers amigo

Never used gelatin or isinglass (sounds gross). Get some Irish moss next time (pretty cheap and goes a long way). Rehydrate it before the boil and add it in with about 10-15 mins left. This and cold crashing gave me a WAY clearer beer than my first batch, and it made me proud to see it in the glass looking amazing. Even if your beer is hoppy, let it sit in the fridge after bottling for a few weeks or longer. It's hard to do but you'll see a dramatic difference in flavor, aroma and appearance. Welcome to the obsession, cheers!

the bucket lid blew off cause of all the pressure, I sanitized it with star san and duck taped the hell out of it so it couldn't happen again.
