Specifically wondering if anybody has seen some in or around the city of Orange. I saw somebody mention Mr. Keg's in HB had some but would like to find some a bit closer. Haven't had this beer in a while and would like to grab a bottle. Thanks.

Saw some at the Wine Country in Signal Hill a week ago, last I've seen it.

Thanks for the replies. I probably won't make the trip to either of those place, I just wish it was as plentiful as it had been in the past.

Don't feel too bad. Without a trip a to the brewery, it's far from plentiful up here as well.

You won't travel to Tustin from Orange?

I'd say Tustin is "a bit closer than" HB.

Mr Kegs had a case last week, along with a case of Pumpkin Ale. I think it lasted 3 days. Last time they got it in it lasted a day. Very rare these days. Will have to pick up another case of JO on the next release of Citra.

Looks like I just missed out, only saw empty shelves where the Kern once was. Thanks for the heads up though! Grabbed some Bootlegger's pumpkin ale instead.

I miss the days when JO was easier to find than pliny. :slight_frown:

I picked some up last night. This is an amazing batch of JO or maybe I finally am realizing just how great this brew is. I put this next to Duet as my favorite go to IPA'S.

    Cheers.....

My definition of "go to" must be way different than yours, lol. I consider "goto" to mean a solid beer I can ALWAYS find (here in Orange County). So my gotos are usually Hop Stoopid and Ruination. I love Just Outstanding and Duet, but they're extremely rare in OC. Even Elder is way easier to find.

I am in SD on business at least once a week. Therefore I am able to get to Alpine on a regular basis and keep my stock fresh. I always have Alpine in my fridge, and quite honestly Duet is my go to IPA along with Nelson. I have a pretty constant supply of JO, although not as abundant as Alpine, I usually get a case a month from my friend who live's next to KRBC. So I can understand the term go-to being a bit subjective.

    Cheers.....

I've had a couple of bottles JO, thought they were on a whole level lower than anything Alpine makes. I'd literally take any Alpine IPA over it. But then again, I'd pretty much take an Alpine IPA over 99% of any IPA anyways. So this is not to be meant as some slam. JO was great.

Just picked up a bunch more yesterday as well as their Pumkin Ale that we enjoyed as we passed out candy last night. Such a good batch of JO.

    Cheers.....
