I'm hearing talk of bottles of Justin Blabaer and barrel aged Justin Blabaer. Anyone know if these will actually hit stores and if so, where and when?

Also anyone seeing Woot in our area yet?

I have seen Justin at DeCicco's in Brewster (not exactly NYC, I know). Shouldn't have told you that because I want all of the Blåbær. I have not heard of a BA'd JB. However if you want JB in NYC I would point you towards Tørst; they have it quite frequently, with that being said, I'm not sure if you can purchase it to take home from the bar.

    Have yet to see w00t.

Edit - Just read about BA JB. The JB at DeCicco's Brewster is the Westbrook non-BA'ed version (not the Fanø version which is red wine BA'ed)

Looks like it hit Noble Grains on UES. According to BeerMenus.

No more Justin at Decicco's, we just killed the last bottle tonight at the bar! Only two stores north of NYC got it according to the people at Decicco's. w00t did come in today though, and they have lots of it...and it's drinking reeeeeally nice right now!

Bierkraft in Brooklyn just got Justin Blaeber in stock. For what it's worth, they also just got a few different Cascades. Expect to pay bar prices for takeaway bottles (or just drink them there).

I believe they'll be tapping a keg of Pannepot Reserva 2009 today.

I picked up a bottle of Justin Blaeber from Prospect Heights Beer Works yesterday for 10.99. Those guys are great.
Shipment had just come in, I waited while they priced it out so I could buy it.
1 believe they only got a case.

Is this getting widely distributed?....i.e, anyone think it will make it out to CA like Biscotti Break did?
    What was the bottle count?
Typical price? I saw $10.99, but that seems ridiculously reasonable if you ask me.

Chris, $12.99 for the regular release (22oz bomber) and $16.99 for the BA'd version (smaller bottle size, not a 22oz bomber)

Foodtown of Harlem has W00tstout. Didn't get it, didn't notice the price. Also Cascade Kriek and (I think) Apricot, La Vermontoise, and a couple of Crooked Stave goodies. The guy said they have Doom too.

Awesome place. My next visit will be in the Fall though... that walk from the train station in this heat and humidity had me sweating like a ***** in church.

Got a growler of JB since the bottles ran out in Queens. They were 10.99 when they had them. Beer is lacking in flavor IMO. I know its a Berliner Weiss so its light, but this seems too light in body, and slight tart. Watered down blueberries, almost wine cooler esque. Not sure how different the bottle would be, but not blown away.

Woot I tried the other day. It was a pleasant stout, with rye slight bourbon and honey flavor present. Was way smooth to me for 13%. Was a good beer, but nothing amazing. Saw at a couple stores in Western Queens

If you know it as a Berliner Weisse and know what that is then why is light and tart something odd or wrong? I think the problem is that you you keep on saying beers did not blow you away...when blown away is indeed a rare occasion.

PS - the Orginial Justin B was Barrel Aged and that is what made people say wow..though this one made me say wow too...
