I've been trying to build as big a vertical as I can of JW Lees Harvest Ale and I've come to realize that 2003-2006 bottles are elusive as ever. I'm in the US as well, which doesn't help much. Does anyone have any information on these vintages?

I have some 2005s and just a few 2006s. I purchased them in a liquor store in Mount Holly, NJ a few years ago. I had the impression that both proprietor and regular customers had no idea what they were. I bought the entire stock of all of the vintages on offer. What would you like to know?

I'm mostly wondering about availability anywhere in the US. I have noticed that the east cost seems to be the best area in terms of availability, but even then I'm sure its a hunt for 2003-2006. I suppose trades are an option too but I'm not sure this is the appropriate forum for such a transaction

If you want J.W. Lees, Harvest Ale, go to their selling partner, bestofbritishbeer.co.uk they have the last few years in stock of Harvest Ale, and they will ship bottles to the United States.

The J W Lees beers are imported into the US by B. United, which maintains a large warehouse of vintage beers.

Unfortunately, their website's been "under construction" for many years , so their list of distributors/beer finder is (still) not online.

...but they do encourage people to contact them and list a Michigan rep at http://www.bunitedint.com/company/contact_us/

Some 2013 Calvados and regular 2015 just dropped in SF at one of my places. They do online sales by the way
