    Hello

I'm traveling to London in a couple of weeks and was hoping to sample some vintage JW Lees while in town. Is this a tall order or is it something I can accomplish with some effort? Thanks in advance. Cheers.

    Hi there
I think no one's answered because they don't want to be the bearer of bad news.

I've not been to London for more than 10 years but being Manchester through and through I know the odd thing about JW Lees & I'm pretty confident in saying that their pubs are all in the Greater Manchester area.
You might hit lucky & find some as a guest ale but purely as a gut feeling I think you will probably only find bottles in shops.

Most probably you'll find something bottled in Tesco though it will be quite uninspiring.
I think your best bet will be bottled harvest ale from a speciality beer shop.

    Good luck
I wish I could help more what with a Lees pub being 25 foot away from my home.

I think the Harvest Ale is what the chap's looking for Bev. Never seen it around though.

Shh I didn't see the Vintage bit
I only ever see it outside of the brewery at the Christmas markets
    & this is in Manchester!

We ordered some up to Edinburgh a while back, maybe just easier to do that- order it to wherever you're staying

Oddly, the last time I was in Chicago (last months) there was TONS of it around...far more than I've seen in the UK.

BA won't let me post the link to the online shop, but it's very easily googled.

You can order the Harvest Ale on Beers of Europe but I don't know if your hotel would accept delivery of it.
