I've been after this guy pretty hard. I've actually had trades fall through so I know I'm pretty close. What has this beer gone for? if you have one what would it take for you to trade it? Any and all info appreciated!
You can search the trading forum to get some ideas: http://www.beeradvocate.com/community/search/29429379/?q=K13&o=date&c[node]=25
Buddy of mine traded his for a Backyard, proprietors and a 4 pack of BCBCS when they first came out. From what I've seen it goes for quite a bit more than that. He just wanted to get it done.
thanks, but ive been living in that page the past 2 months. Im looking for inforamtion regarding trades that have gone down. specifically from people that have had bottles and trades that happened behind the scenes. the trade forums have had a very small amount of people trade thanks for the info guys!
Sent out DB Hunah, DDG b2, and Grey Monday for mine. And only got one offer for it, along with a separate offer for a cable car. It is trading pretty high right now.
I as well as many in group I tasted it with found it highly highly overrated and not worth the cost of admission. I wouldn't give up near what people are asking.
Great info, thanks guys. I've offered a vanilla eclipse on here and just made another post on bt. Last time I put it up I had a few people to respond but than back out. I would have thought the vanilla eclipse would get it done. I actually traded a cable car for an eclipse ticket lol so I find the cable car angle humorous, too bad cc sold out literally when I was next in like this year Thanks for the responses!
A Cali group just did a big BA barleywine tasting (results posted on the website of a certain former user here). K19 finished 19th of 29 (tied with Sucaba). I'm sure it's still fantastic, but the trading value is just outrageous right now. I'm sure it will only get worse if not remade.
But just ask anyone ... BBBW is better than that fallen off KH. The only thing surprising about the result is something finished higher than KH. That shit is one of the best beers ever brewed. There was so much of it out there that it pissed everyone off based on what it was trading for, but there is no denying it was awesome.
