    Old Peninsula Brewpub and Resturant - Great food, downtown location, and an excellent Red Ale...

    I second going to Arcadia for food and beer also.

    Can't miss Bell's, of course...

    I second Olde Peninsula - they've been around for quite some time know, so they're doing some things right.

    I'd give another nod to Tibbs and Gonzos Biggdogg, as well as KBE and Shakespeare's.
    With Bells and Arcadia, as well as all the other options, there is no need to leave downtown.

    One Well=great service, great beer, free foosball, free darts, board games, .25 games of double dragon/donkey kong/pinball arcade games. 'Well' worth a visit.
