Had my first offering from these folks. Lewbricator Was impressed with this brew. Although it is a stout it seemed more like a porter. Shared a 6 pack with some friends we all liked it. Would certainly purchase it again (gonna check back @ cf hy-vee today). I was told it'll be next year before it is brewed again, so I'll be looking forward to that. Plan on trying more KB in the future anyone else out there been drinking their stuff?
It's a wheat doppelbock, according to the brewery. Sucha Much is a pretty good IPA, though TG spoils us rotten. I'm interested in trying their coffee stout. Have heard of some diacetyl issues with their pre-filled growlers for Sucha Much, led some retailers to drop them in my area but the cans have all been fine, and I don't know anyone personally who's encountered it.
Right said, maybe it was too early in the morning when I typed stout. Just was impressed with the beer. Looking forward to trying their other offerings.
I thought Sucha Much had a really weird aftertaste and I didn't care for it at all. I thought the Lewbricator was pretty decent, though. Those are the only two of theirs I've tried so far.
