I'll be in Japan next week, and three of my nights will be staying right by Kanda station, which is an area I don't know well. Plus my wife is joining me for those three nights, for the first time in around 15 years of repeated visits to Japan. Anything great near Kanda? Obviously there's the imperial palace, but also looking for little things like where the heck do I find a decent breakfast?
For Belgian beers, there's St. Bernardus' pub right in Kanda. There's also Mikkeller in Kanda which will have some local stuff as well. For more specifically local stuff, check Devil Craft in Kanda. For some good food, check out Butcher Brothers, the Mandarin Oriental Hotel if you want some upscale cuisine, and Sembikiya for great sweets.
