Cracked a bottle of MB Sunday.
Really enjoyed it. Was not a coffee forward with a dark roast taste but it was thoroughly enjoyed.

I much prefer this to Morning Bean

I really enjoyed it as well but I found it to be quite coffee forward.

Past iterations (last year's specifically, I think?) have been among the most coffee-forward beers I've ever tasted.

I feel like we have the same conversations every time Morning Bell is released. Some think it's not coffee forward at all, other think it's overwhelming.

At the end of the day, I think Kane brews this beer with a certain amount of subtly in mind and people just have different palates and perceive the coffee forwardness differently.

I’m sure that in this case, however, that I’m perceiving it in exactly the right way.

when i pee after drinking it, the past however many years... smells like coffee to me!

also... would have loved it to have been in cans this year... think they could have done a really sleek black label with white font... like the mug and really had a swell look/feel to them however at $/oz for bottles it would equal out to be a $35.28 4 pk and you know how well that would go over... but people still dropped $112 for full allotment...i think a bunch of people would have preferred 3 4pk....12 cans vs 8 bottles

Yeah, after doing evening bell and christian patrick in cans, I was really hoping to get some morning bell cans.

Glenn from Kane responded to the "tastes more like coffee" posts a few years ago. They changed the way coffee was added to this beer. It definitely had an impact in my opinion. I preferred older version. Both great, but the old version had more subtlety.

I like the bottles, although I miss the old label. I like keeping certain beers in bottles and others in cans. I guess since MB is one of the first bottles I was able to get from Kane it has a special place for me

I am ok with it in bottles. It is one of those i usually share so its cool. Again if the price keeps going up I may not feel the same way. must say thought a 20$ 4pack of morning bell would really tickle my fancy

This year's version is not as coffee forward as the last few years. Good balance. Love it
