Managed to get a set. Excited to try the new variants as they sound intriguing.

 

Excited to see which one is the favorite of the bunch. I didn’t even try this year, couldn’t bring myself to drop $28/bottle price. Sounds like it was a relatively stress-free transactions though, congrats to those who scored a set!

 

Probably over $30 with the tax and fees. That’s why I passed too.

 

Haha yes but unfortunately it’s also like me saying Tome Brady and I have a combined 5 Super Bowl wins.

 

$32/bottle after fees etc. Sadly, I've become desensitized to some of these costs but I still debated whether or not to do it. All said and done it was super easy though. Add me to the Eventbrite batting 1.000 club.

 

I wonder what their profit margins are like. I’m know it is not a cheap beer to produce but @ ~$30 a bottle they have to be making a killing, right?

My work internet is so amazing, I've yet to lose out on a Kane release. Even better my wife got a set as well, now the big question, trade it or sell it to break even

Myself and my girlfriend also each got a set and we're asking each other the same question! I've seen some pretty big bottles being offered to fetch a set of these getting crickets.. so if you trade, aim high!

 

Pretty easy release once again via the app. Seems to be a proven method at this point. Not sure when anyone chances it with a desktop anymore.

 

because not everyone on the app scores..

 

Havent missed a release in the past two years.. am I that lucky?! All kidding aside it seems like it GREATLY improves your chances over desktop.

All I’ve ever used is desktop and haven’t missed any yet out of the 6 or so I’ve tried for.

Only reason I felt the need to post is to prove really there is no proven method. I think @mumbles44 hit the nail on the head.

 

I would be very surprised if there was any actual discrepancy between the two. The idea of Eventbrite manufacturing an ever-so-slight advantage towards the app just seems ridiculous, and (while it isn't exactly my expertise) I can't think of anything inherent in the technologies that would actually render an advantage on the app.

By all means choose whichever method that works for you... but claiming that the app gives you an inherent advantage seems right up there with the "BOTS!!!!" claims that Kane gets inundated with lol.
