I had the Neapolitan variant on Saturday and loved it! After having Three Chiefs Midnight Robots recently at OH, I thought ANTEAD was better.

I hope the ANTEAD variant is more subtle than Midnight Robots. It had too much fruit for me, I just cant get into stouts with that much fruit.

I have yet to try a fruity stout that I really like, which is why I wasn't too upset to trade away my set.

I will say, I have had a few stouts that were aged in Red Wine barrels they imparted a nice rich fruit flavor that was not overwhelming and I enjoyed. But yeah, stouts with fruit added have not been much of a hit for me

Agree completely, I wouldn't want to lump wine barrel aged beers into that assessment. I'm talking more things like Jam the Radar. Definitely not my cup of tea.

You hit the nail on the head! Midnight Robots had soooo much strawberry (I vaguely remember there being actual chunks) but ANTEAD is more subdued. I think you'll enjoy it!

Agreed. The is a nice strawberry note throughout but extremely well integrated.

Kane has a way of integrating adjuncts better than most I think. I don’t really enjoy many multiple adjunct beers but Kane’s are so subdued and the beers still taste like beer, not really sure how else I’d explain it.

this your first time having it? I had two bottles the holiday season it came out and it was like drinking a chocolate milkshake. Last year when they tapped it during the anniversary weekend, it was good but died off a bit, still have a bottle at home

I am headed to Kane tomorrow to pick up my ANTEAD set. Does anyone know if they sold out of the matching glass?

This is good to know. I've been stupidly sitting on my last bottle for years. It was so amazing fresh and I should really open it soon.

They had a ton last weekend, so it would seem like they should still.

Yeah, it was my first time having it. I didn't specifically notice any adjuncts, but frankly BA stouts aren't my bag really anyway so idk how good my palate is

I don't the beer itself was adjuncted however I do think parts of the brunches were part of the blend

Yep that is what I was making reference to. Overall it's worth seeking out but like all hype beers doesn't live up to the hype because there's ten million good beers out there nowadays
