Announcing it this early means they have a ton of it or they feel like having a shit show on their hands tomorrow

 

The lack of limits make me think it’s the former.

 

3 bottle per person limit and day before release...

Did they make a shit ton?

Or did they not make a lot and want it gone quickly?

Either way, i wonder if shore traffic keeps people away

 

They usually announce Morning Bell early so Rook can promote it somewhat before its all gone I thought

I hope it's a ton. I am assuming it will be like barrel aged evening ball not so long ago... this is one I would really like to get but not willing to wait an hour (or more) in line anymore

Yea it all depends on how much they made. They usually make a lot of reg morning bell and I believe last time it lasted around a week+ but obviously this is the BA version. I'm with you and $16/$18 a 500 ml aren't super enticing given I love the reg version that I think is like $12 a 750.

 

No last time they announced really early morning of.

Great, at BA bottle release at Kane they day I am hoping to swing by on way home from the beach and pick up a 4pk or more of Whale Pond.

 

Enjoy if you’re going. I would love to go but I have way too many dark beers I still need to finish to justify buying more. That being said it will be very hard to resist going. I’m always a bigger fan of 500 mls cause I can realistically drink one. 750s bye bye sober brain.

 

@Elfastball7 just go later on, it shouldn't be that bad after 2 or 3. Usually they are crowded with a line prior to opening for a couple hours but it typically dies down after a while. It's not a bad strategy too if you want a shot at some bottles without waiting in much of a line but you obviously run the risk of missing out. Plus typically they sell special release stuff out back and you should still be able to grab reg cans to go from the bar.

 

Thanks for the advice. I usually go to Kane on the weekends later in the day after 4pm.

 

I’m passing thru with no interest in standing in a line. Can I just get pours at the bar?
