I think its always been the general process of Kane that no particular beer really falls into a solid release schedule, outside Vengeful Heart right near valentines day & Port Omna right near St Patricks Day. Malus generally comes out in the fall, although a few years ago it came out in Oct, seemingly its coming out tomorrow as well, from the post last week. Also Fall Saints generally (if it is released) comes out in Oct/Nov time as well. Other than that, its kind of wait and see. Tomorrow likely will be Donut Shack and Malus (from their post last week) and Friday is a TBD

I agree with above.. I would add in Fall Saints for tomorrow's line up?

also put me in the grouping of not liking building the home with the details coming soon.. everyone knows a black friday release is coming, either announce it advance or just do it at open friday...I also wonder if they may try to scale it back.. seems like latly they are against long lines at open

who knows if anything else will come Wed as well. Donut Shack/Malus only seem 100% due to their prior post

Looks like Malus is now 500ml and packaged as an "Apple Cider Ale"

Malus format and price point I think makes sense. I usually struggle to finish a big bottle but this I can drink 1 on thanksgiving solo.

The lines at Kane for can pick up today were pretty crazy. Don't people work!?

But props to their team. Even the crazy can line moved very quickly and there was very little wait if you wanted tastes or pours. I was also shocked that with the volume of people moving through there they still had plenty of Sunday brunch and whole Leaf Magic left for purchase as well as everything else that was listed on the website this morning. Impressive.

You were there, don’t you work?? Damn, I really wanted to run down there since I got off work early but had too many errands to run around town.

Most people either take a half day or a full day off on the day before holidays. Mystery solved.

    How’s this year’s Donut Shack?

Lol. He sounds like me yesterday afternoon when I went to Tree House.

“Good god almighty, look at all of these fuckin’ losers waiting in line for beer on a Tuesday afternoon. How pathetic.”

The line for the Black Friday release has already started

    • What better way to celebrate the holiday than by releasing special beers during our annual Black Friday release event? We will be open Friday, November 29th from 12pm – 8pm with the following beers:⁣ ⁣

Boardwalk Twist, a brand new 11% Imperial Stout inspired by a chocolate and vanilla ice cream cone. It was conditioned on a blend of 11 total different cacao nibs and vanilla beans. We used cacao nibs from Haiti, Uganda, Ecuador and Dominican Republic to create several nuanced chocolate flavors. Our blend of vanilla beans included varieties from Madagascar, Mexico, Tahiti, Uganda and Papua New Guinea to provide a unique range of vanilla flavors. 500mL | $12 a bottle | 6 bottle limit.⁣
      ⁣⁣
Washed Ashore, a brand new 12.4% barrel-aged Imperial Stout conditioned on toasted coconut, Haitian cacao nibs and Mexican Vanilla Beans. It is inspired by your favorite coconut and chocolate candy bar, and enhanced through barrel-aging. 500mL | $16 a bottle | 4 bottle limit.⁣⁣
      ⁣⁣
Double Barrel-Aged Evening Bell, our 11.6% barrel-aged Imperial Milk Porter that finished in red wine barrels. This beer was first aged for 8 months in Barton bourbon barrels that we picked up directly from the distillery in Kentucky. It was then transferred into Syrah red wine barrels from @albavineyard, where it rested for 10 months, and developed a strong red wine flavor. This blend has cherry and raspberry flavors up front, which lead way to a soft toffee character. 500mL | $16 a bottle | 4 bottle limit.⁣⁣
      ⁣⁣
Maple Wood Barrel-aged Evening Bell, our 12.5% barrel-aged Imperial Milk Porter brewed with maple syrup. We brewed a special batch of Evening Bell with Vermont maple syrup. After fermentation, the Maple Evening Bell sat in both Jack Daniel’s maple wood whiskey barrels and Woodford Reserve rye whiskey barrels for over a year. We then tasted the individual barrels and selected a blend that highlights the unique character of each type of barrel. 500mL | $14 a bottle | 4 bottle limit. ⁣⁣
      ⁣⁣
Evening Bell, our classic 9.2% rich and dark Imperial Milk Porter brewed with pilsner base malt, roasted and chocolate malts, with lactose in the kettle. $16 a 4-pack | 1 case limit.

I’d better be able to taste all 11 of those different beans in that first stout! . The various Bell releases all sound really good though. Unfortunately it’s probably going to be a shit show. Can’t say I get the reasoning behind releasing so many in one day. I’m hoping at least some Bells last until Saturday.

With how much they’ve released and is currently available you’d think those beers would last a day or two but I guess you never know @Mrstiffington

I’m hoping to go at some point Friday after my turn around last year. I was hoping they’d do the evening bells again

That Maple Evening Bell sounds ridiculously good. I plan on hitting TH one last time on Black Friday (I'm going right before they close, fuck that 3-hour 10AM line nonsense), maybe I can get a little trade bait out of it:grimacing:
