Trade offs either way. I know I am lucky I could reschedule something I had at that time easily. Others dont gave that luxury. Wish their was a fair way that all the folks that really just want to drink them could get them.

 

@SammyJaxxxx Mex brunch pickup AND can sales from 10-12. Pours and everything else at 12....

 

And if I recall they usually have a new can released on days like this that is avaialble early as well.

Yep, here are the 4 dates and times per their Facebook post:

Saturday 1/19 (10am-8pm)
Sunday 1/20 (12pm-5pm)
Saturday 1/26 (10am-8pm)
Sunday 1/27 (12pm-5pm)

 

Can availability is announced on Wednesday and Sat... Ooops wrong brewery

Yeah they have definitely done that a few times so I do not think it would be a huge surprise. Wonder if, because of the weather forecast, this weekend will be slow and next weekend will be craziness...

Hello!

Thank you for purchasing Mexican Brunch. Bottle pickup will begin tomorrow, Saturday, January 19th at 10 am. Due to potential inclement weather in our region, we are adding a third pickup weekend to ensure everyone has adequate time to pick up their bottles, safely. The full list of pickup days and times will be:

Saturday, January 19thth: 10am to 8pm

Sunday, January 20th: 12pm to 5pm

Saturday, January 26th: 10am to 8pm

Sunday, January 27th: 12pm to 5pm

Saturday. February 2nd: 12pm to 7pm

Sunday, February 3rd: 12pm to 5pm



These will be the only pick-up windows. Pickups will still begin tomorrow at 10am and we look forward to seeing everyone soon.

I'm going at 10 tomorrow, I know there's a minor line from last few times I've done it but to me its best to have the rest of the day to get stuff done. I also think most out of town people wait till 12 to at least be able to get samples and make the trip worthwhile. Anyone going at 10 as well?

 

What nonsense. I held off on entering because I can't make it the next two weekends. The rules explicitly stated not to enter because those would be the only windows. If the winners can't make it, the only fair thing to do is release leftovers for purchase. Or refund and re-do the eventbrite. Something, something...locals/early supporter/best customer ever....

 

I don't think Kane would've been able to predict a snowstorm...

 

I get being annoyed if you held off and now they added a weekend. I don’t think they should re-do the sale though. Seems extreme.

Truly hoping this isn't sincere lol... it can be difficult to discern tone online.

 

can not agree more; easily one of the best parts of any beer release nowadays.

 

I just went back and re-read the IG comments they are great. People are so stupid.

"This system doesn't work." Why, because you didn't win?
"I had beers in my cart several times and couldn't complete it." Right, but so did thousands of other people who were there at precisely the same time, some go through, others don't.
"What a waste of time, go back to brewery releases." Why, so you can complain about missing out because too many people got there before you (just like what happened online), and how Kane doesn't take care of locals?
These people seriously are either lacking in intellect to a severe degree, or their mommies instilled in them such a sense of entitlement that they are incapable of living in our society without feeling like they are getting shortchanged all the time

 

LOL you forgot to add "thats really too bad you guys just lost yourself a loyal customer!!1!1!!!", then you see them commenting in the next release post offering up "FT local hazeeee"
