noticed Aloha Shirt has changed styles and abv. i think i kinda liked it but thought it was too sweet the first run, how is this new batch? i'm a big fan of coconut in any beer, so long as it's not totally artificial and tasting like suntan lotion.

Anyone know if Aloha saw distro to Wegmans?

so i guess Aloha Shirt sold out already? weird, i haven't seen a single Kane beer "fly off the shelves" since this started. Thought for sure i'd be able to just walk up and get a 4 pack tomorrow.

The less a beer resembles beer these days the quicker it goes. Or so it seems...

fair enough. i got that first day anticipating that, but considering the past few times i've gone there for bottles, they've had about 5-0 IPAs available, i just assume Aloha would stick around at least a week

I would just assume the batch size on this was much smaller than other beers they have made several times before

not to mention sheer volume loss when fermenting on 500 pounds of pineapple, then conditioning on an undisclosed amount of coconut.

Vent post: Let’s ruin our “favorite” session ale by turning it into an 8.8% beer, come on. These are just my thoughts but why do they have to take a unique and perfect actually drinkable beer and turn it into the same over hopped stuff so many other breweries make now? I hope I eat my words and they actually make ripple again but something tells me they won’t

Haha @M-Fox24 i must have posted right as you were.

That's something I called out before but was mocked for it. I hate how 90% of these releases are hazy 7.5+% abv double dry hopped giants. I miss drinkable non dry hopped to hell beers.

I'm going full hipster and drinking way more lagers and ale/lager hybrids like boat. Maybe it's just me but I feel better drinking those.

Jon I thought the exact same thing when I saw the IG post earlier. Why not just make regular Ripple? I don’t get it all. They recently released several IPAs and DIPAs. How about the session beer a lot of us like already?

yea this one hurt cause the nelson sneakbox made me think it was coming and it did just it basically the opposite form. Oh well. At least it’s fun and entertainment to talk about it on here. And who know maybe ripped is still coming.

l think we’ll see regular Ripple at some point, maybe this summer. When they put out Imperial Sneakbox they didn’t stop making regular Sneakbox so I don’t see why they’d kill off Ripple like that. At least I hope that’s the case.

Speaking of drinkable “session” beers, I saw that Forest & Main started canning another 4% English Bitter. I’m so damn jealous; wish they allowed contactless pickup
