I loved it. Sweet balanced. Only complaint is that there were floaties on the day it was released. I am guessing it was honey

 

grabbed 1 of everything new"ish" and some sneakbox on thursday, will be trying them out and will report back. Rainbows seemed like it would be good with that whirlpool & dry hopping combo of chinook/citra/amarillo

 

This fresh batch of Party Wave is real good, but not as good as that last batch I had, something special about that one. Also had an SBX last night that I got also (canned 5/29) and it wasn't great right away, it got better after it sat for a few mins but this batch isn't the best one I have had

 

Dude...WTF are you trying to do to me here? haha I have one can of Party Wave left from 5/14...I will save that for a side by side comparison and share my thoughts. My plan was SBX, PW and Jumping Rainbows but maybe I'll sub out SBX for Indicators if there is any left tomorrow.

 

hahaha! the SBX ended up being pretty good once it warmed and opened a little, a good batch not the greatest I've had though. I really would love to hear a brewer talk about how batch replication ends up being so difficult. the 5/14 PW was the one I was raving about out of the gate, this one was canned 6/4 I believe. So you are talking about 3 weeks, now I guess it could all be from the same batch and they just didn't can it all at first, but that doesn't make sense and doesn't seem like Kane to me. So that being said how do you pump out a batch 3 weeks later that tastes a bit different and not basically the same? I am no brewer, maybe some home brewers can chime in.

Last batch of Indicators was really good, I had my last can Friday or Sat, it never left the store online so I assume its the same batch.

 

Neon Glow is a really good beer. Sadly I was hoping to get golden feelings as well but it sold out today. How clean and drinkable this beer is very much makes up for it. Highly suggest it, if your on the fence but a four pack or two you’ll be happy you did. Cheers to home delivery.

 

Was thinking about delivery today after the DDH Head High, but I am going to be out tomorrow at the store and will just stop by because I don't think I really would hit the minimum for delivery. Fingers crossed DDH HH makes it

 

you think we get another bottle release before the brewery itself is ready to open? feel like tomorrow would be nice, but no one seems to care about covid anymore, so there will probably be a line and a half.

 

Feel like there would have to be, we've already seen several and they seem in no rush to reopen.

Feels like they aren't going to do any outdoor seating, just stick to this model for the future

 

yeah, they can't turn that back area into seating, they won't be open for a while. I'm in no rush to drink there anyway. Hoping for a bottle release tomorrow.

 

why cant they? as far as i know they use all of the bays but one.. i am sure they may be ableto work something out

 

just basing it off the fact they always seem to have trucks back there and snake the line in ways where they aren't blocking anything. wouldn't make for too much room. not for nothing, but it also isn't exactly nice back there, and there's usually a sour beer smell in the summer. i guess they could probably toss a few tables out there though

 

I don't think its an issue of why cant they, its a thing of knowing how Mike/Kane operate and assuming they won't rush to do it, if at all. They really don't NEED to do it, so I assume they stay with the model they have since the Stay-At-Home

 

DDH HH is tasting really fucking good.

 

I hate to say but the 6/4 batch of Party Wave is a letdown. Has a thin feel, almost faint soapy flavor, very little if any tropical/citrus fruit notes.

 

Good call. Just saw on IG they’re releasing a bourbon barrel aged stout today. Dripping Maple.

 

nice prediction...hopefully this lasts around for a few days

 

I wonder if they’ll do 500 ml for antead whenever that happens. I would be in full support of that.
