It's gone now, pretty sure I was the first person to be denied.

Had a second can of 6/4 Party Wave last night and it was slightly improved from the initial can. Aroma was more present, the soapy flavor had subsided a bit, still more on the floral side than what I am used to with Party Wave.

had a can on Sat, granted it was after a few other beers, but I thought it was good, not as good as that batch I was whilin about though. I bought another 4 pack on Sat as well, same batch (6/4) so I have a few more to drink through.

I will likely crack mine this weekend. I planned on drinking it Sat or Sun night and then I took a turn now IPA road and drank through the beers my buddy sent me from VA instead ha

I enjoyed it quite a bit. I think it is 2922 as base. The cognac as a wrinkle that makes for a very complex drinking experience. I loved it.

in all honestly, when was the last time you had a disappointing Kane bottle? I didn't try the Magnify collab, but i think that one had some haters. Outside of that, I can't remember the last time they got crap. I even had one of the screwed up Brunches from a few years ago and thought it was good.

Yeah I was saying to my friends that this seemed very similar to 2922, which I still have a bottle of, perhaps some science will be done over here?
I didnt get the Magnify bottle, but it also really didnt interest me either. The Double Barrel Evening Bell this year was good but just wasn't what I thought it would be. Outside that I can't think of a Kane bottle I wasn't really a fan of

I think Magnify and Kane did their own versions, both of them sounded to sweet for my liking, so I was fine with not being able to get either

has anyone ever requested beers for a make your own 6-pack? one time i was there and the kid working asked me if i wanted anything else, just ask while i was making my own. the options are plentiful, but they're usually meh, so if you can point at a couple other 4/6 packs and get one, that would be clutch

nah wegmans. although i did advocate for that as well. wish kane did that during the pandemic. they released so many cans in the past couple months and i haven't gotten one b/c i don't feel like spending $40 every week.

Ahh, I haven't really bought much beer at Wegmans, but that makes more sense ha.

I really love the by the can model for a brewery, I'd even pay slightly more to by single cans if possible. I think Icarus did it for a time. It would be real nice to do it that way, but I get the reasoning behind why most places don't want to.

The Magnify version was awful. The Kane version was solid, but not up to the level of the majority of their bottles.
