The link above still has the most pertinent Kane-related information about the brewery itself. Kane seems to be the single brewery in New Jersey that gets the most chatter so I thought I’d start this one up again this year. I’m sure we can expect more excellent offerings in 2022.

Had this years base ANTEAD on Chrismtas and it was a delight! Cheers to 2022. To anyone coming from further way I am local to Kane and can give any recommendations on other spots in the area for food, drinks, and such!

Just wanted to note that I opened a 2016 Object Permanence last weekend. It was one of the best barleywines I had ever tried when I first had it back in 2017-2018, and this batch held up extremely well because it still holds that distinction now. Was a little surprised by the amount of heat on it still. Sad I don’t have any left.

I believe so, it’s a 750ml bottle before they moved to 500ml. I still have one as well.

Doing Dry January and was going to say I might make this my first beer after that, but then I remembered its around 12% and a 750 of that may not be the best way to start off after a month with no alcohol ha

I still have a 750 of Vengeful Heart from I guess 2017 or 2016. I wonder how that's holding up.

Agreed. Same with liquor before beer. Give your body a jolt and don't fool it by starting small.

Any feedback on Cosmic Dreaming and this batch of DDH Head High?

I really like Cosmic Dreaming. Lots of citrus flavors! I haven't had this DDH Head High yet but that's always very nice too.

It does, I truthfully don't usually buy a 4 pack of 19 ouncers with at least seeing somebody's feedback but I may make an exception

It is interesting they went 19.2oz cans on this one. The other lagers made some sense, with the lower ABV but this one is 7.2%. Sounds really good and a nice beer for this storm rolling through

Just had a pint of Shell King at Egan’s in Montclair and, oh boy, that beer is a delight. Guys, I don’t care if it’s 2022, Simcoe, Amarillo, and Chinook still do plenty of good work.
