Looks like beer garden open every day and indoor taproom still Saturday and Sunday. No word on whether you could bring drinks back and forth.

You can bet I will report back on that as early as potentially Saturday haha

I wonder if there will be separate taplists indoors/outdoors as well

Beer Garden being open 7 days a week is incredible news. So awesome

Less awesome is the decision to only serve cans in the beer garden. All pours inside only. Let’s face it, getting those amazing barrel aged beers and other stouts/porters and small batch hoppy beers are why a lot of us stop by. It would be nice to have those pours outside during the summer months, but you can only get them on Sat and Sun and only inside, which to me eliminates a trip during the week. But whatever, small inconvenience overall.

Yeah I missed it originally on the post myself until my cousin pointed it out. I wonder what the exact reason is but its a bummer. You also can't take your beer from the taproom out to the beer garden and I was chatting with one of the taproom managers and he mentioned it had something to do with the zoning on the property. So maybe that plays into only allowing cans outside in the beer garden. That being said, he was mentioning the construction that's on going as you walk into the tap room front entrance is for their new tap room and I wasn't aware of that. Apparently they are going to look to be open 7 days a week once that opens, going to full transition into that new taproom and make the current space more dedicated to production full time. Thats the reason they decided to do only Sat/Sun right now but the expansion will alleviate that. Pretty cool and the plan is to have it up and running hopefully in July.

I see Morning Bell has made it into a few of the bottle kings by me. Does Sunday brunch ever go into distribution?

I’ve never seen it. Never seen Bell either until now. Must’ve had a lot of bottles sitting. I wish more of their cans made it to stores.

Also have heard that along with the expanded tap room they are taking over the building across the back lot for an event space

From what I have heard they finally have taken over the entire area now and own everything. Far cry from the days of them being a small taproom and their neighbors complaining about parking issues. I always said anyone who complained about Kane's "lack of expansion" clearly hadn't been stopping in often. Would be cool to have an event space, although the building behind the taproom if you are looking out the bay doors is already being used for Field & Oak brewing, storage and other stuff if I recall so wonder where this will fit in.

I feel like Morning Bell went out to some Wegmans during early portions of COVID before they had a delivery option fully functioning but I could be wrong. It makes sense to push that and also Sunday Brunch out to stores. They both have been available onsite for a while and things being much more back to normal you'd assume they aren't selling out any time soon. Why not spread the love

We were going to head to Kane today to enjoy the beer garden but I just have zero desire to drink cans I can drink at home. Surely this is some backwards legal decision and not some weird thing Kane decided to do.

Last year I had pours from the bar in the beer garden so I think it’s a choice.

Outside chance a friend and I are going down today. If so, I’ll definitely be buying those and will have one later.

So we decided to go next weekend. Today was a first time visit to Chilton Mill. It was fine. And then to Sunken Silo. Much better. Looking forward to Kane next weekend. Daughter has a game 10 minutes away.

Went to Kane today with a friend. Field & Oak having their anniversary today. Was a little unsure about the different tap list. But we ended up really enjoying what they had. Especially good was the Czech lager special 13 they had on a side pull. Added bonus was I got to meet @SadMachine in person today. Word is the lager will be canned next week so I wouldn’t sleep on it. Now I’m sweating my ass off watching my daughter’s club team soccer team.
