The above link has the most pertinent information about Kane’s beer on tap and to go (when they keep it up to date).

Yeah my friend brought both to my house for NYE. He tried to get the ANTEAD rlelwased but missed out. I had one of each. Liked both. Probably the Southern over the Northern.

Thanks! Yeah the Southern sounded more like what I would be into as well

Man, I just noticed my “released” typo. How the hell does that happen with autocorrect? Wasn’t even drinking!

Is that what that was? I read it and thought, "Man, I just can't keep up with these new beers with the wacky names no one can pronounce and I'll never remember..."

So I REALLY enjoyed the taproom exclusive Moutere IPA but I always love NZ hopped stuff. I think in a week or two it will be even better if its around still. I grabbed the double double wrapped but didn't get to open it yet.

I'm near Kane about 4 times a year to see my in-laws. Picked up a bunch of cans & bottles around X-mas. Boy, do I miss that Christian Patrick stout. This year's Shifting Squall was pretty great, though. Won't be back until Easter, but I'm really interested on how the new taproom construction will have progressed by then.

CP is great, I miss that as well hopefully it comes out again at some point. I will say I opened one of the ANTEAD from this go round so far (Coconut Macaroon) and it was not as sweet as some of the recent years and a return to form IMO.

I asked in early Dec about the new space and the feedback they gave me was it essentially is ready but they are waiting on permits from the town/state before they can use it. So hopefully soon!

Anyone heard any rumblings on when the new taproom is opening?

There seems to be a lot less on tap recently than usual

Anyone know of the double double is still there?
Also, haven't had a kane barleywine before, so wondering how their barleywines to Rev Straight Jacket, which I really have enjoyed.

Kane barleywines can hold their own against anyone else out there as far as I'm concerned. Extended barreling plus the blending of different barrel types and different barleywines, these are right in my wheelhouse. My only issues with them are they don't release enough of them and they don't ship to Pennsylvania anymore.

The last barleywines they released seemed to be available at the brewery for at least a couple of months.

You've convinced me. Guess I'll be trying to get a bottle with the morning bell porters then. Thanks for the help.

Passed by this afternoon and it was still there. Didn’t get to try b1 but have been impressed with previous Kane barleywines like object permanence and the stacking casks series; the recent stacking casks 8 was really good.

From what I saw it looks really nice, I didn't make it as I got home from a work conference Sat AM and just didn't get down there. I did notice they are serving pretzels and head high mustard in one of the pics I saw. Wonder how they got around any weird NJ law about serving food
