This. At the 5th anny I was lined up at like 11 for fifth and I had to go to the bathroom so bad the guy in front of me told me to run over and pee and he would hold my spot. I did so came back and someone at the back was yelling at me. Was nice to have everyone say calm down be was here way b4 you

 

Line went slow but it seemed like they really kept a lot back to sell this way.. Was well done.

Let the guy in front of me use bathroom as well, tough to hold out for that long if you had a drink before as he did.

All in all good day and great tap list

 

I got Party Wave. This must be what Odell feels like after scoring a touchdown.

 

It is tasting awesome. Reminds me a lot of IB Premier with some Simcoe dank.

 

Just thinking about all the canned IPAs. The Aslin collab that was fantastic. Canned Omna and variants. Now ANTEAD. Who's had a better start to 2017? Jesus.

 

Maybe if he came back from the dead again.

I just cracked up to a Jesus joke on Easter. Better drink my beer before I go to hell.

 

Feeling super lucky and grateful. After missing out on the lotteries the last two years I was lucky enough to get bottles today. Not a full set but 4 outta 5 is fine by me. Super happy to get that because last year it was only 1 bottle of the extras period so anything more than 1 is bonus.

Really gotta give it up to Kane. Nobody really can have any gripes. After years of people wanting ANTEAD for online sale they did it last year. When people complained about that they did a lottery too. When people complained about locals missing this year they made sure if you were around it was possible to get some (and multiples). They obviously are doing their best to accommodate everyone and making sure lots can enjoy it.

 

No matter what people were going to miss out. No matter what people with means and only intentions to trade were going.to mule up. No matter what people were going to freak out about how they were doing it wrong. Is what it is.

I have missed out on ANTEAD for years...sadly my first try was at EBF in Boston of all places LOL...missed the lottery this year and last year...timing was just right today...and we got two bottles of Coconut just before it sold out. There was 4 bottles left after us. Felt very "lucky" and super excited to share this great beer with great friends during our next bottle share!

 

^^^ I was right behind you then. Myself and the guy behind me got the last two. Had no idea bottles were available and just stopped for cans. Going to open the coconut tomorrow at a small Easter share.

 

I figured that I'd miss the rye. Other than that, I was really hoping for the base but it sold out 3 people in front of me. All in all, it was a great day and well run. And Party Wave too! Thanks, Kane!

 

So if anyone is wondering, I was there up until closing, trying to coerce some of the employees to give me the last hidden bottles of ANTEAD that I know that they have sitting right there for themselves. No luck... but, there were still cans of Party Wave and Wind Swell.

 

I think party wave is my favorite Kane beer. It to me wind swell has too much straight vegetal onion mosaic, any one else get that?

 

I personally think Party Wave is their best IPA said that when it first came out last year on tap. I really wasn't a fan of Wind Swell but I grabbed 1 4-pack to give it another chance and man it's tasting real good, might need to grab another pack. Also I love the style of the rotating can labels!

 

anyone know how many full sets they had remaining for sale yesterday?

 

I think someone was saying like 45 or 65 something like that. Not many. I think I overheard there was about 40-50 people at opening maybe already so it was accounted for. Lots of the rest though made it until like 230ish and I'd say a few hundred prob got at least 1 bottle
