    Even 1 PM would be fine.

    I've arrived at noon only to see people leave the line when nothing special was announced and that was confirmed upon doors opening.

    Hill Farmstead does on site consumption bottles that have to be shared by 2 or more people for their large format bottles. Seems to work for them. You'd probably want a few people splitting a bottle when it comes to a high ABV beer like ANTEAD.

    Sell them for $35-$40 per bottle? Split that amongst 3-4 people for an ~8oz pour per person?

    That's just so wrong. Haha I couldn't imagine asking my parents to do something like that and I definitely couldn't imagine them saying yes even if I did ask!!!

    I live right over the river and work in NJ. I am at Kane most times at least once a month. Why am I excluded?

    Because people are assholes. Really don't understand the NJ elitism, and really with Kane alone. I don't give a shit that many NJ people drive to Other Half and sometimes buy out the beer before I get any. What makes where you live matter?

    You've gotta give it to Kane, though. This release was perfectly run. I got there at 4pm, picked up some cans to go, picked up my ANTEAD bottles, and was on my way; all within 15 minutes.

    Good point. The front of the Other Half line is mostly out-of-staters, with many from New Jersey (some from PA too).

    If they get up and get in line earlier than the locals, good for them. They are usually the people maxing out with cases of each beer. Understandable, since the price of the commute is high and some of them are picking up for other people.

    This understanding should extend both ways imho.

    Agreed - and OH are announcing the beers they're releasing the week prior. Kane announcing right before open same day helps to favor locals even more. How people can continue to complain and think they're entitled to more than that simply based on where they live is beyond me.

    Why even bother to pay attention to such stupid statements. Just ignore them....

    What do folks think will be available for cans and bottles tomorrow at opening? Friend is going to brewery and coming to see me in NC this weekend - trying to get a jump on deciding what to have him get for me. Thx!

    It is never "just" Head High.

    @Macsimus
    One can do a lot worse than a case of Head High and a couple of bottles of Solitude.

    Carton has a lot If cans right now. A real friend would do both.

    No kidding. I lucked out in that I was on my up the parkway from visiting my parents and was stopping in for some cans. Fresh Boat, IDIPA, the new Appollo Dubviant and the Alteregoipa (too annoying to toe backwards). Nice additions to all the Kane cans I still have. Thought I should mention Kane in their own thread.

    We are crossing streams in our Carton and Kane threads right now and I love it. Go to both, buy both. Easiest beer decision ever
