Assuming you're going to get Head High cans, then definitely a growler of Sneakbox. Its one of my favorite beers anywhere.

I know you said hoppy, however - Rally Stout was very good if it is available.

Good. I'd have to have another one to say for sure but it was not too too different from regular Odub.

Just growlers, no crowlers. Last Sunday this was what they had for Growler fills:
    Head High
    Overhead
    Sneakbox
    Parhelion

rally stout has been off for a while now, the barrel fermented rally stout was really really good!

If your friend is stopping at Kane for you (and hopefully Carton) tell him to go to Jughandle right by Kane. They do Crowlers and they have a bunch on tap!

Eh, Jughandle isn't all that good. Especially after carton/Kane.

Drinking my last can of Cove right now. So much damn flavor packed into this beer.

I'm going to down to the outlets on Saturday and figured I'd stop by. Might as well check it out while I'm right there.

obviously Jughandle isnt on the Kane/Carton level, there really arent many in NJ at that level yet, but its close to where his buddy is going to be and its worth a try at least. I go to Kane on the regular, I don't stop at Jughandle all the time but I do on occasion

What are the chances of a fan being released tomorrow? I have never been and was hoping to make the hour trip worth it.

I would presume they are trying to replenish their stock of OH/HH/SB but what do I know? We're all pulling this our of our respective butts. 50/50.

disagreed. I prefer Little Dog but both are worth a try.

as kthoag said - put it at 50/50. and this is pulled completely out of my ass.

last year on easter weekend, they werent canning regularly yet - the weekend after (april 2nd) we did get BA morning bell. im like a god damn kane historian i guess.

And when do they announce if they will be releasing anything? Right before opening?

Asking opinions about releases is pretty futile. Sorry, just being honest. The silent release thing makes it very hit or miss. Plus 2017 has been rather pattern breaking so far as using historical data to attempt to decipher release dates.

Plan A - Go down and drink beer as you already planned, and hopefully you'll be lucky.

Plan B - Watch Facebook between 11 am and 12:15 pm. If nothing is announced, 99.999% there's no special release. If something is announced, hightail it on down and get on line.

Kane historians - When was the last time Apiary was released?

I believe it was released on draft a few months ago. Could be wrong tho

Looks like you might be right, there's a BA review of a growler purchase in February.
