i would have said OH would be the one he may not be able to get -- i think that's on a different canning schedule? I know last time i was able to get SB/HH but no OH. Also always a chance there will be a release, unless they are truly warming up for September.

Wonder if they would do HH/OH bottles again...

Not sure about the canning schedule but there was a TON of Overhead there last weekend when I was there. Sneakbox was the only thing running low in the cooler. Who knows how much they had in their big fridge by the end of the weekend..they'll post tonight on facebook with what's available, we can count on that!

Me neither! The guys on this thread are normally pretty good with posting that though..theres a few from last week on here, and I doubt much has changed. And if there are any changes, they usually happen Saturday morning.

Yeah, I saw somewhere that the only way you can access their (up-to-date) Facebook shit is if you're a member of Facebook.

I get it for breweries that have 100 pages of posts in a month, but last month there were like 2 pages and we still started a new thread. What's the point exactly? I like to subscribe to one and have alerts pop up when something is posted

We do our best to not run out of any of the three flagships, though HH is still always the priority so OH and Sneakbox can occasionally run out if we're tight on room in the brew calendar (and draft for our bar and restaurant customers still gets priority.) We've been doing a good job i think lately, the whirpool installed earlier this year was a big help, and we have several new tanks coming in October. We're excited about the possibilities they will bring...

Yes there's a lot going on and has been for some time now. It's interesting you said that because I still get the "when are you guys going to expand?" question often. I honestly don't know what people mean when they ask that. I have to ask them to clarify their definition of expansion. Turns out they usually mean distro to liquor stores or outside NJ. They always seem disappointed somehow that our growth has been to supply in state draft and tasting room can sales....

    No disappointment here.

Expand? I think you should retract, and make bottle releases require a Monmouth County ID.

Should show em pictures of just a year or 2 ago. The change is evident and quite large. The amount of tanks alone has grown so much the last few years. Its been fun to see (and taste)

my definition of expansion: a taproom with can/bottle sales in the new providence-summit- berkeley heights area hahaha

side note: i've been making my way through HH cans from a mid-june canning and damn, they still taste amazing. Good work on that.

Good to hear. We work hard on packaged beer quality. It's part of the reason we waited so long to do it. To do it right takes a lot of ancillary equipment (beyond just a good canning line) and trained staff. Super fresh is always great but shelf life is much more practical.

A lot of people that have only gotten into craft beer and local brewerues recently don't have any real concept of how small a lot of these operations were not that long ago.

Still have growlers and pint glasses with the old Kane logo on them..even have a picture of a group of friends in the old tap room at the 1 year anniversary..

planning on doing a vertical of all the anniversary beers that we saved when year 6 comes out this year...Only one i am missing is the Cognac barrel.

@glennl any idea how any of the older stuff is tasting?

think i still have a 365 and 730 somewhere in the depth of the cellar... guess probably time to crack those. in a few weeks i have tasked myself with pulling the older of my bottles and moving them into front of the line rotation.. time to start doing first in first out for a bit instead of first in last out
