a ticket system would be a great idea for the release..it got pretty messy at the last ANTEAD release..now that Kane (and ANTEAD) are more well known..it's gonna be a madhouse..me thinks it could get kinda ugly on that line

Agreed - I live close and have been a Kane customer since they have opened. I am not waiting in line all day and night. Ticketing system would be the way to go. Hopefully they'll have tight limits and a large run

One bottle of each so you walk with maybe 5 bottles including the regular. Do you really need more than 5 bottles in total? Plus, they better have made a shit ton of it. If they had 3000 or so of each variant, that would be cool. People could feel comfortable and they would still sell out of it quickly.

Come on Kane, do the right thing here!

Echoing others, if there aren't tickets, I will also pass on this. Street Green was awful, and black Friday in Chicago was not great either. I may be alone, but the long delay and lack of info got me thinking this batch was off, but we shall see. I'll try to trade for a bottle of regular, that will be it. Good luck to those who do go!

@NJNYC732 completely agree. i'm a half hour from the brewery. i can only imagine the amount of douchebaggery that this beer release will entail. i'm positive you'll see some out of staters here.

A limit of 2 per variant and 3-4 for the regular would be nice. Scaling back the limits vs. the previous release and the increased production would make for ALOT of happy people.

I am more interested in the next Head High can release rather than what is sure to be the craziness of the ANTEAD release. Original plan was for them to have a constant supply of cans at the brewery and now 2 months and no word. Anyone heard anything on this?

Yes, I spoke to someone at the brewery about this a couple of weeks ago. They are at the mercy of Iron Heart to can, so i believe its a scheduling thing.

Did they divulge any anticipated timeline?

While I'm really hoping they ticket this, they would have probably just come out and said it if they were. Could be wrong, but at least the early 10 day forecast isn't bad. Thanks global warming.

of course there will be people from out of state given the location of the brewery. There were plenty out of towners last year too.

I thought Kane bought their own canning line? Also what is the down side of tickets? Better for customers and employees I would think. I mean it's a guaranteed sell out either way right?

They bought their own bottling line for their specialty bottles. I believe the plan is/was to can with Iron Heart for a year and see how it goes and decide if their own canning line is worth the investment. Which im sure it will be.

Yea, what was it over 600 cases the first run and it sold out in two days. I would say canning line investment would be well worth it.

FWIW, This was posted in the November Kane Thread

whoa, this is awesome news. Might be pushing it since we haven't even seen a second run of Head High cans, but I hope the Citra Pale Ale gets into cans!

From what I heard, Kane is weary of canning with Iron Heart again because of all the complaints about the Head High cans tasting funny. So don't expect any more cans until they can figure out the source of the off/inconsistent flavor.

I would love for it to be a ticketed event, but even if it isn't I will go. I'm not going super early though. I will shoot to get there at 8 or so. Hopefully, My brother is willing to come with me.
