BTW I have been a Kane patron since day 1. Will be buying fall saints if any left tomorrow. I have never had ANTEAD and I don't feel slighted. The people that hoard or use mules or are willing to put in time and effort to come from afar or whatever obviously either want it more or don't have better things to do. Kane is obviously trying but if the other people are hell bent on getting it either for trade bait or personal consumption then so be it. I am no worse off. In fact I'm better off because other brewers will aspire to make awesome beers too, and it funds kane's operation, allowing him to make things like hop lab triple. I just wish I was closer than 45 minutes away

Let me know if you agree feel like it was way more tropical and went down way easier for being so big. (That's what she said)

Drinking it right now at Kane. You were not kidding the triple IPA is amazing. Super tropical super juicy. I also agree that it is better than AGE.

i found it to be a bit too sweet and boozy. "triple" IPAs haven't really wowed me by anyone yet. Even The Younger was a tad sweet and boozy. That def was good, but don't understand the crazed hype.

They do, but they don't adjust price so you pay the 1L price.

I'm still so damn confused as to when it became acceptable for an IPA, let alone a Triple IPA, to taste like fruit juice and not beer?

It's impressive to make a beer taste like fruit juice just with hops, let alone a 10+ percent triple IPA. Hiding the taste of alcohol is a part of beer history. It's still a beer, just a hop saturated delicious form of a beer.

Well tasting like juice and not having bitterness has nothing to do with masking the alcohol. AGE taste like juice but you can clearly taste the alcohol.

I'm talking about the fact that the beer taste and feels like juice. I'm drinking an Alesmith IPA right now and it has plenty of delicious citrus, juicy characteristics, but has plenty of bitterness to remind me that I'm drinking a beer.

All these recent east coast IPAs have such an insane lack of bitterness it's sad.

I agree with everyone saying that this batch of Hop Lab Triple IPA is better than the first batch. They really hit the mark wih this one!

I suspect a few years ago the conversation was, "I'm still so damn confused as to when it became acceptable for beer to taste so bitter and piney."

I love juicy, unbittered IPA. I have no use for bitterness!

Had their triple tonight. Excellent beer for sure. Better than all green by a mile? Not at all in my opinion. I'll still take all green and it's much greater availability. I did like Kane's Citra more than other half offering.

Then you obviously never liked IPAs before they began to taste like my nephews OJ. The main quality of an IPA is distinguished by bitterness

I would say it's main quality is hoppiness, not necessarily bitterness, and we're learning hoppiness can mean bitterness for those that prefer it and juicy drink mix for those of us that want it, and every combination of the two! More good beer suiting each of our respective preferences, cheers!
