    Maybe it's because we don't have as many local options as Vermont and New England to get excited about? I'm not trying to start an argument here, just a counterpoint.

    Waits 10 minutes, checks email: still no ANTEAD email.

    Checks Kane thread on BA: "whew, no one got am email yet"

    Just saw Kane's lineup for EBF: ANTEAD, Mexican Brunch, Hop Lab: Triple IPA, and 1460. Wow.

    Interestingly, Mexican Brunch was sort of inspired by an attempt at an antead variant. we experimented with that same mix of spices in antead a couple years ago and it didn't make the cut. We tried it again in Evening Bell and it worked better. It was first tapped at our annual cloverleaf takeover as Evening Bell - Mole. Then we tweaked a bit more and made Mexican Brunch.

    Wow that's awesome. If you ever need someone to drink your failed antead variants, I'm your guy. Also had that evening bell mole at cloverleaf :slight_smile:

    Can we talk about Simplicity? I picked up a growler this weekend and even the non-beer drinkers I shared with rejoiced. That beer is outstanding. Clean, delicious, and perfectly hidden high ABV. I don't even like Belgians and it is a new favorite for me.

    Also, I may be in the minority here but I remember liking the first run of hop lab triple better than this one.

    I don't recall there being any lines for Kane last year and they were pouring ANTEAD and sunday brunch. I have a feeling it's gonna be much different this year.
