Having a Wind Swell....this is delicious. Better than most of the Other Half IPAs I've had recently. This is amazingly well balanced and just tasty as hell.

Pardon the out of towner, just had to praise some great beer here.

Does anyone know Kane's hours this week?

 

thurs 5-8, fri 5-8, no update yet that i see for Saturday as i am sure they will probably be only open for a limited amount of hours

 

Closed Saturday and Sunday

 

Mad respect to them for closing on Christmas Eve. It's a great day for the employees, and all of us, to spend time with family and friends

 

I'll be driving through NJ en route to upstate NY on Saturday - any stores near 95 or 287 where I might be able to find Kane cans and/or growler fills?

 

So you can only get cans at the brewery still, however looks like Joe Canal's in Woodbridge on Route 1 has Head High on tap for growler fills.

95/NJ Turnpike and 287 are both right there so that could be your best bet for Sat.

If you hop off turnpike exit 8A it is 5 minute detour to get to cranbury buy rite, which almost always has both a kane and a carton offering for growler fills. Right now they have carton red rye returning and kane wind swell. Damn still no mystery can release today

 

I know... teased us so long ago!

 

If I had to guess, the mystery can release will be January 7th. I dont foresee them releasing on a weekday, although we also didnt think they would transition to sticker cans. And I also dont see them releasing it on NYE but thats partially me telling myself that cause i wont be around that weekend. Also would make it about 3 weeks after their post about cans, the same amount of time from Overhead cans arriving to Overhead cans available in the brewery. Of course, speculation and I could (and probably will) be wrong

They are going to have Third Reef at Extreme Beer Fest on Feb 3/4, so that should be coming relatively soon.

 

yeah I see that they took party wave off samples tonight after moving it from flights/growlers to samples last week. Hopes that they did that so they have enough to can in the blank cans. Also see Citra has been off the board a bit now too, hoping we see Sneakbox and one of the new sticker cans release together soon!

 

I got a chuckle reading the Instagram comments of all the people who aren't aware of the fact that sneakbox is going to be a regular can and not a blank can. They are completely oblivious to just how great Kane is going to be in 2017
