Still had them when I was there at 7:30 so I'm going to assume yes.

Just finished a growler of Simcoe - really really nice and easy to drink. Not sure where it ranks in the Hop Lab series because they are all quite good. Sad I missed Galaxy Head High (was already en route to Flounder) but I hope this is a sign of things to come - Galaxy is one of the best variants of HH. Make it a regular thing, Kane!

It was nice to see that everyone was getting cans and bottles. The fact that there are still cans from the previous week is very encouraging to me - although someone on Facebook already asked, "When are these canned from?".

Was with a group of friends that asked if that hopefully meant that it would hit distro soon. I would hope so.

I'm dying to try this Galaxy HH at the beach today. It looks very cloudy in the bottle, so I'm excited.

Also, Simcoe is the one in the middle, in between the bottle and Eureka:

Agree. I really hope this makes regular appearances. Quite good.

They mentioned looking for new ways of releasing their hoppy beers. I wonder if we'll be seeing more of these hoppy 16 oz bottles, especialy the Hop Lab beers. Something like Citra would be great in these bottles. Would fulfill the demand to have that beer packaged, and avoid having to purchase a ton of printed cans, plus the long wait time in having such cans designed and approved.

Damn, I didn't expect this to be as good as it is. I'm not a fan of Galaxy. I don't hate it but the drier taste of it used to turn me off. This is excellent.

$5 a sixteen ounce bottle is kind of a turn off for a regular IPA.

I just looked at it as Maine Beer Co IPA is about $7 - $8, as are some others I've seen... why not a $5 bottle of this variant?

But I know what you mean, a 4-pack is essentially $20.

That is what I mean and yeah also why I don't buy Maine Beer Co. anymore. Yes, I do splurge occasionally though and if at Kane already I'd probably buy one.

I buy Maine when I can get it. I buy Singlecut at the same price point. I'm fine with $5 16 ozers. My brother ran over to get Me some and I am picking them up tomorrow

To be fair, I've also bought Singlucut bottles for more than $5. I guess I was thinking that after buying regular Head High four packs for $12, paying $5 for one seems high. Again, not that I wouldn't grab one if I was at Kane already.

I see your point here although also consider it is DDH. Not to say that warrants a $2 surcharge but honestly given the format I didn't think it was extreme.

I literally haven't touched an MBC beer in over 2 years because of their format and price point. I'm sure this beer is far superior to any MBC beer.

I'd take this Galaxy DDH Head High over a lot of the MBC offerings.

I chortle every time I go to a bar and a MBC on tap is minimum $10 but a Head High is $6.
