Was about 20th in line. Grabbed some bottles and cans. The line was long but seemed to be moving very quickly.

Gotta give credit to Kane. Smoothest release Ive been to there of the larger variety.

Line moved super quick. They opened the doors early to get through it, which I dont remember happening previously. Probably made the right move to remove tasting today. Overall not a bad time at all for what I was expecting to be an absolute shitshow

I always wonder about limits. Do you need six bottles of any beer? How many of these bottles people buy will sit past their prime? Makes you wonder.

SB can probably sit for a few months and taste great. But I'm guessing a lot of people will buy 6, drink 2-3, bring 1 to a bottle share, and sell/trade what's left.

Most people walked out with 6 including me. One for now, 2 for friends, and 3 to trade or cellar. I still have one from last year, it's not like SB falls off.

I'm liking Sea Cow alot. Perfect summer crusher. I kinda was expecting something a little more adventurous from the collab but it's nice to have something light and refreshing.

Whoever designed the new bottle labels should be flogged

You know that smell when you walk into a bakery? If you condense that into a liquid and put it in a glass; that's Sunday Brunch. Amazing stuff. Glad I finally got my hands on some.

I had a similar critique of the new labels. It's almost like a Comic Sans situation.

Also, wish I had done the same thing as last year and walked in at 4. FOMO is legit.

That label is brutal this year just saw it. The glasses make it look even worse. How's it taste this year?

I enjoy the pop art look on the glass but definitely prefer the original labels of all the Rook beers.

That said, this batch of SB is as good or better than any other. It's already one of my favorite beers so it's hard to judge but seriously, wow. Huge coffee and syrup nose. I want to reduce it and pour it over my pancakes, or vanilla ice cream, or just mainline it into my veins. Also got to try BA MB for the 1st time tonight (cheers if we were together and you see this) - pure chocolate milk. Like a far more decadent Palo Santo Porter.

SB drinking amazingly right now, borderline too much coffee and cocoa, perfect amount cinnamon and maple. Very consistent compared to last year
