I agree with you 100%- I wasn't comparing them though. I feel like they're 2 different beers even though they're both PAs. If it didn't say it on the can, I would have guessed IPA.

new hop lab is tasty, gonna probably need to name/can this one.

noticed nice new menu sheets with detailed descriptions of the beers. says hop lab was hit with simcoe and mosiac powder. sneakbox/hh/oh all listed as "core" everything else "tidal series", fun facts

 

They've been doing SB kegs for a little bit now.

 

I like this beer a lot. A lot.

 

Is it possible to get cans of Sneakbox, Overhead, their usual offerings no problem or will I likely have to wait on line on Saturday afternoon? Are can sales done in the taproom or elsewhere?

 

If nothing new is released should be no problem at all. If something new gets released it may be a littler busier but should be no problem. Even if there is a little line shouldnt take long at all. Only chance of a super long wait and line is if there is some massive hyped release. And even then, if thats the case the line would most likely be out the back of the brewery and if you werent interested in that you should be good to use the main entrance and pick up Overhead/Sneakbox cans at the bar no hastle if available.

 

They just brought back Sneakbox into the rotation yesterday, so you should be fine on that front.

 

That's great news. Sneakbox is my favorite of all the Kane IPAs I've had

 

I've got to say... Just cracked a Sneakbox and this might be the best one I've had since I first tried Hop Lab Citra on ipa day a couple of years ago. Not hyperbole! I'm going to pick up a couple more tomorrow.

 

Ps Sneakbox is also my favorite Kane beer.

 

Yeah, Sneakbox is a delicious beer. I think I would take Party Wave over it but it's a close call.

Hop Lab citra is Sneakbox.

The mosaic/simcoe hop lab is solid. Reminds me of head high with an added juicy element.

 

I assume he knew that and meant "this is the best batch of SB since i had it the first time i had it, way back when it was still hop lab citra."

New to the party as I recently relocated from San Diego, hit the brewery yesterday for some 3 day old cans of Sneakbox. Holy shit this beer is wonderful. And it's canned on the reg from what I understand. Looks like I will be just fine here with such a solid offering. Can't wait to return and run through the entire list of drafts (was short on time yesterday). How often is this beer canned? Head High cans impressive as well.

 

It's canned fairly freqeuntly. It also holds the taste well. I had a mid-june can yesterday and it was just as good as it was 2 days after canning.
