what's even more ridiculous about this is, unless Kane does a crazy limited release that's like < 100 bottles total or several hundred people start following this guys lead and line up every week before open, there's almost zero chance that this guy will miss out on bottles assuming he can get to the brewery within 30, maybe even 60 minutes, or less. unless he's really driving 1+ hour each way every saturday just hoping there's a release...

One of the beers 5 years ago was kickass but time has past it by. Most midwest hoppy beers have fallen this way...Daisy Cutter, Psuedo Sue, Zombie Dust, etc.

 

I don't agree with that. You make that statement as someone from NJ. In the big picture very few people have had Kane Citra and that's how it's going to be for a long time. I love kane Citra but pseudo and ZD are perfect examples of a pale ale. I get sue and ZD on a regular basis and they are excellent. The last batch of ZD I had was superb.

 

Would not be surprised if new cans of Head High were on sale within the next few days or so.

 

Right now I have several different options from Tired Hands, Other Half, etc in my fridge. You know what I'd rather have? a Head High, or Magnify's ELV. Or an 07747. Jersey beer might be the best in the Mid-Atlantic.

 

Really true. I traded for PsuedoSue recently and was completely underwhelmed. Same with Zombie Dust. Glad to have tried them but when I have HopHands, Boat and now Citra as local options that's really tough to beat.

I'll tell you what, I've always loved 077XX and I've been singing its praises from rooftops for a long time. Having canned variants as often as we have has blown my mind. Mosaic and Galaxy are amazing, I liked Sorachi a lot and Warrior was a dark horse of a beer! This doesn't even mention, SS CREAM, Cosmonaut, Regular and Irregular coffees and the list goes on. Not to mention I'm literally jonesing for a can of Boat right now. How is it I never tire of that beer? If Kane gets Head High regular, cans Citra and rotates in offerings like Ripple I'll be in a state of euphoria.

 

Funny, because after going to Kane and Cross & Orange... came back and had a Head High at home and it was glorious. It really hit the spot.

I did see them putting stuff in that big fridge. Stuff. STUFF.

Love going there. So close to work too. Living in between Kane and Carton is an awesome place to be.

 

Yup! Also, we're at the shore. My company just had our yearly picnic . . on the beach. It gets no better.

The first time I crack a Ripple can I will feel so #blessed

 

I dream of Ripple!

 

As much as I enjoyed Cloud Cover, I need that Ripple in my life. This weather demands it. NAY, we demand it.

 

Southern Hemisphere hops should be coming in very soon if not already. I think we will see it soon.

 

I would drink cannned Ripple, Citra and Head High all summer if I can brave the shore traffic one weekend.
