That's what I thought but the opinion seemed to be that it would sell out today.

In other news, I'd have to call today successful. I got a few bottles of Brunch, a bottle of Sacre, some four packs of Head High, a growler of Citra and had a couple tasters, then home by 2. Followed by an epic light saber battle with my son. No shore traffic either!

Walked in at 4, grabbed 6, grabbed a glass of Citra, walked out.

Am I doing these releases wrong?

Also, there were less than 600 bottles left at 4. Well, now less than 594.

Yes, you didn't get more Head High.
Planning on going to Conclave any time soon?

After having a bad experience with Head High cans the first time around, can say the ones I picked up today tasted great. Looking forward to these all summer.

Awesome release. Walked in at 3:15, grabbed my 6 and a case of head high. Had a pour of morning bell and out at 4:00.

    Well done Kane!

This was by far their best release. I'm gonna give them credit on everything from bottle count to line control. Well done.

I also got to meet @DrStiffington so that's a bonus. We'll have to make it a longer hang out next time.

Just cracked open a bottle. Tasting delicious - cinnamon and maple up front with that Rook finish on the back end. Really well done

Any chance there will be some head high left tomorrow if I take a road trip over?

Unannounced/Silent Releases is a known factor with Kane. Furthermore, the mentality seems to be, or strives to be…the goal is to have bottles last for the first day. In essence, no need to stand outside of Kane every Saturday, b/c you are guaranteed a “quantity” if present @ some point on release day. This thought process does not represent 2015, or any BA beer (e.g. Silent Nights, ANTEAD)

…Of course, this thought process is rubbish if Brunch sold out today, and some unlucky sole missed out

I think they came damn close to achieving this.

Just happened to be there today after visiting Carton and getting some lunch. I think I got there around 3:00 and didn't even know they were doing a bottle sale until one of the bartenders told me. Picked up two bottles of Sunday Brunch and a 4 pack of Head High.

Nice Place, but they could use more seating.

More seating? The place is huge compared to many other breweries I have been to. In all fairness I tend to visit smaller local/regional place.

Kane does not need to be bigger. It's plenty big already. You're right, it's much bigger than other local places.

If he thinks Kane's tap room is short on space/seating I would love to see what he has to say after a visit to Other Half's tap room :grinning:
Huge fan of OH and I love going to the brewery but it makes Kane's space look like a country club.
Anyway, I missed the bottle release today but I did manage to go to a Kane tap takeover in Fort Lee last night which was awesome!

Haha yeah Other Half is about 1/20th the size of Kane. It's uh....cozy.

Disagree. I could see Kane aggressively expanding if other units in the building they are currently in leave. I dream of them owning all of it and a biergarten in the middle.
