Alternatively, if these people realized that life goes on without an individual bottle in their possession, things would be better.

It's amazing to me that the availability of super high quality beer is so, so, so, so, so, so, so much broader than it was 10, 5, or even 3 years ago, and yet people are more and more crestfallen when shutouts happen.

Vengeful Heart doesn't move at all. Fall Saints and Malus end of 2015 barely moved. Heck, back to summer of 2015 and Nom de Plume sat on offer for nearly four months.

Even though Kane's breadth and depth is best in state, it's still the stouts/porters and coffee/barrel that makes a bottling run sell out quickly. I'd think even with their bottling line having worked out its kinks the choice of what to bottle isn't all that simple since space is at a premium with the can line being built and the backhouse undergoing changes.

I can't believe how long it's sitting. Hoppy barley wine but I guess it's not trade bait so why bother...

I'm curious as to why it's not trade bait? I get why saisons will sit around, they just don't carry hype for whatever reason. But Everyone has been raving about vengeful heart. Personally I've never had it but I would like to.

I've also heard that it is very good. I've stayed away from it because I'm not the biggest fan of barley wines, but I May still try it out

I'd venture a guess that their IPA selections are the reason they are installing a canning line. Also, 750ml bottles of IPA isn't exactly the favorite choice for drinkers these days.

Is Vengeful Heart any different from the one they brewed last year? The one I had on draft last year smelled so strongly of BO and onions, and I'm not usually sensitive to the hops that tend to give off those scents.

Bottling line should handle 12oz bottles too. And I get that they are doing the canning line I just mean in the meanwhile. Not that Kane is hurting for business right now anyway

Sounds like you got that pour from a dirty tap line. I hate summit hops and they were no where to be found in VH.

Is this the case for Kane's bottling line? I do not know about what multiple formats a single bottling line can fill. If it can fill 12oz bottles I'd have to imagine Kane would have rolled them out some time ago if it was a format they wanted to sell their product in.
