This is priceless! This hobby sinks deeper and deeper into the abyss with people waiting on line on rumors!

Did anyone else not appreciate the Port Omna base (and therefore all the variants)? There was something off-putting about it that I just couldn't explain...

This batch of citra is the best I've had so far. Cheers everybody!

Could be the case, however, I didn't see any such bottles when I was there Friday. Also, when you say "word got out" what platform was that on?

Had a growler of Citra for the holiday today. This batch is superb. Hopefully it becomes a regular or even semi regular offering in the near future.

Hop Lab Citra is by far the best APA I've had ever. I love and hate that it's not available all the time. I'd be crushing that all summer if it were canned. Between Citra and Boat, I'd have to agree, NJ would corner the market on my lower ABV crushably drinkable beers.

I absolutely love Citra but Ripple is right there also as far as Kane APAs. Its really close for me which one is better. I personally think Kane makes the two best APAs on the market.

YES! I feel like I'm the only other person who thought this. I love Kane, a lot, so it's not like I'm looking to bash Kane but none of the variants did it for me. There was a very weird base, like you say, and it left a very weird taste in my mouth. The day Citra was released I went back and of course did a flight. The guy I ended up sharing a barrel table with was like I just drove down from New Brunswick for the Kreamsicle! It's so good right?? I was very unimpressed to say the least

This is on the other hand is so so so so so so good! And I can't disagree that this batch was even better, though that was the probably the wait in between batches that made it taste so good  By far my favorite APA and a top 3 beer in the world for me right now. Nothing better than being outside on a sunny day with some warmer weather and a glass of Hop Lab Citra

Can't wait for a release this summer. Perfect beer to stay refreshed on a hot and humid day

Hopping Coffee Mole and Toasted Coconut make an appearance. Although, March has about done it's course

The Vanilla from 3/19 and the Kreamsicle from 3/26 were so amazing. Coffee was alright, the chocolates were super harsh tasting, did not like.

Funny because I thought the opposite. Although they all seemed hot especially for something under 7%

I even bought a growler of each respectively, both received compliments, from family members i shared with. Didn't get the hotness from either. different palettes i guess.

Funny because for me the Port Omna Coffee tasted too much like black coffee without the beer taste, but the Milk Chocolate was like having a melted hershey bar in a glass. After having Morning Bell, it just seems like anything else can't compare regardless of the style.
