Plenty of Head High in the cooler at Wegmans Lawrenceville today. Beer guy that works there seemed super stoked to have it. Waited a long time to be able to walk into my local and grab some Kane. Can't wait to enjoy tonight. Thanks Kane!

I’m also here to praise Kane and their awesome distribution. There had to be around 20-30 cases of Head High at Roger Wilco in Pennsauken today. So happy to finally see Kane in cans this far south. Keep up the great work!

Geez, what's the deal with Wegmans? Kinda weird when a local brewery decides to deal almost exclusively with an out-of-state, large retailer that purposely uses a technicality in state law to own more than the allowable off-premise licenses (the licenses are in the name of Wegmans family members, not the corporation).

In the case of the Princeton store, that's located in the next shopping mall over from Joe Canal's on US Rt. 1 - why deal with two stores so close together when there are so few retailers?

And, if you're going to deal mostly with Wegmans, why skip Manalapan? (The closest one to me ).

Probably just luck for Wegmans. They happened to be the convent store for Kane to watch their cans right outside their brewery very easily.

At least I do most of my food shopping at the Hanover location when they make the jump in the next round (probably).

This is a nice little boost for Wegmans - at least my local/office Wegmans. Their beer selection over the last year or so has been beyond stale. The inclusion of Boat and now Head High and possible future Kane cans will be very much appreciated.

Stopped by Wegmans Bridgewater on Friday 4/20 and the beer guy said it sold out almost immediately, so missed out.

I recall Wegmans Lawrenceville actually carrying small amount of Kane back in the day. I actually picked up a bottle of Morning Bell there years ago, they didn't have their stuff for that long and I think I only remember seeing MB and Maulus there. So may be a result of Princeton Wegmans supporting them early I guess? Joey C's Lawrenceville does a ridiculous amount of volume, lof of offices and people commuting up and down rt. 1, I work around there and hit it up fairly often.

Not saying its fair having those 2 stores that closeby with it, but I think those rationale for each make sense. Don't forget that they said they're planning on adding 5-10 more stores by memorial day plus more in the fall after they get bigger tanks in June, so worst case you're probably not far off getting it in more Wegmans locations.

From this point forward I will forever misread Malus as "Maul Us." Thanks.

Back on topic, Kane did have some of their 750s in stores in their early days before people lined up at the brewery. Even A Night to End All Dawns got some distribution the first year or two it came out.

I remember buying those cork and caged ANTEAD and then wondering why people were going nuts the 2nd year for the release, not yet realizing it was a totally different beer. The first version of ANTEAD was not quite the quality of the subsequent batches.

Yes, but then followed up by comparing it to the "subsequent batches" anyways, when they should be thought of as a separate entity/product

The entire point of my post was based on the comparison between the two beers with the exact same name and my confusion as to the hype surrounding B2 after B1 was meh and how I didn't realize they were different beers at the time. But please, continue to nitpick my post.
