Throw Talula's in that list! They have great food and a couple nice beers on draft (Carton Shipwreck last time I was there). The Beekeeper's Lament is an amazing pie.

Went to Talula's Friday night. Great place and a couple different random beers on tap. I finally tried Stillwater's Yacht in a can. Was curious to try that after the Sit Down Son "fued" (or whatever it was). Good pizza, GREAT bread and butter and honey. Had KBS on tap too.

But for out of towners who are going to Kane, Asbury is the best place to go to eat or a night out and Talula's is one of many great places there.

I'll echo this. I was in Asbury this weekend for a wedding and saw that Talula's had KBS, S.S. C.R.E.A.M. and Westbrook Gose, so it was a definitely must go for me. I split a sausage pizza with my step kids and enjoyed the beers. Neat spot and I'd definitely recommend it.

Im going to say Overhead. A while back Mike Kane did an interview saying that it would be the next one. Also, dont remember which month it was posted but there is Overhead can design that was approved.

I think they should pass on Overhead, to be honest. I'll routinely get HH over Overhead.
Would easily leap frog Citra/Ripple over Overhead any day.

I'll echo the earlier sentiment of the Beekeeper's Lament from Talula's. I'm very anxious to go back soon with my camera. They rotate taps consistently and cans as well.

Another good option in AP lately is Skratch. They have Carton and Kane on tap as well as a few others plus a killer chicken and waffles.

Couldn't have said it better myself, agree with all of the above.

However, in that same interview Mike mentioned that Overhead is by far the biggest seller at the brewery and Head High is their biggerst for draft accounts. So there seems to be a huge demand for Overhead.

Edit: The interview is a few months old, I think before Citra was coming on pretty regularly. I would guess Citra might outsell everything if it goes into regular rotation.

But my opinion is the only one that counts, right!!?!?!?!?!

It does make sense though, Citra and Ripple are huge on the forums, but I'm sure if I asked all of my friends what Ripple was without saying the brewery name... a lot of them might not know what it is.

Which brings me to the obvious conclusion: I need to get rid of some of my friends?

I'm well in agreement with what's been said so far. I feel as though Cloud Cover has been forgotten about and would be great in cans. Feels like it just fits really well with the summer can theme.

I read that as "sexiness" instead of sessionability.

Still would have been accurate. My body is ready for both of those to be in an aluminum cylinder ready for my oral consumption.

I know there are labels approved for Overhead, Solitude and Simplicity. Would love for Citra to be canned though.

I am fully on board the Overhead hate train - I just cannot get behind that beer. It smells awesome, and just tastes . . . bad.

can labels? I can get behind simplicity but it seems odd to can solitude.

Overhead is by no means a bad beer. But for me it's just fallen way down in the pecking order due to the awesomeness of Head High and the Hop Lab series, led by Citra.

I don't hate Overhead, it's just not my favorite. There's quite the few other Jersey DIPAs that I'd prefer over it.
Make no mistake, if I am at a bar and my best option is an Overhead, I'm getting that.

I love Overhead, so I would be happy with that being the second to go into cans. I also love Citra and it has definitely been a big hit, but I think Head High and Overhead are still the two flagship beers, so it probably makes sense to get those two into cans first.

This shouldn't be an issue, though, since I think both Overhead and Citra will be in cans soon. With their own canning line and the new tanks that just came in, they should be able to get cans out frequently and in large quantities.

The Head High batch that was canned last week was a small run and it was 200 cases. Prepare to be drinking Kane cans all summer.
