Check a page or two back. Rumors are next canning run end of the month, and assuming it goes well, regularly from then on.

No good excuse. I've been out of the craft brew scene for the past 5 years because life and have been drinking whatever anyone hands me. In my prior life I was a server at Iron Hill in PA. They put me through the BJCP program which got me into the geek side of beer and loved it. They encouraged us to home brew, and I did this for a while until other interests won out. I'd love to get back into it, but in the meantime I'm excited to just do "research". It's encouraging to know that a quality brewery is in my backyard. I've only had Carton on tap (I don't get out much), but my next stop is to visit there. I'll also be 5 minutes from Jughandle, so I'm pumped about that too.

Check out Little Dog in Neptune too - great examples of classic styles (Seafarer's is the best Dry Irish you'll ever have)

Is the reason they are waiting to can again more a brew schedule issue or just a 'fear of taste' from their first canning run on their own line? Just curious as to why they would wait a month to can again if no major complaints came out of this new run. Back in Oct, complaints of being off came right away and Mike addressed those concerns within a week or two of the initial run. It's been almost 2 weeks since the new canning run. We know the demand is there and I think they are missing some opps for sales. Better to be slow and get it right, but just wondering why so slow.

I've seen how quickly Tired Hands has been putting out cans with their own line.

They mentioned they were waiting on a few additional pieces of equipment to come in. Here is the exact quote "Once the rest of our new equipment and some complimentary pieces of the line are installed we hope to have Head High cans on a regular basis."

I'm perfectly fine with that. They can take as much time as they need if it means getting it done right consistently.

The blue waves will be an awesome contrast to all of the orange in my fridge.

Fear not - I think they are just very meticulous. Once the HH cans start pumping out, I think they will be in the fridge nearly every day.

If this is any indication looks like a new hop lab this weekend, El Dorado.

"Tonight we'll be at End of Elm in Morristown taking over their taps. Hop Lab Citra, Hop Lab Triple IPA, Hop Lab El Dorado, Morning Bell, Sacre Coeur and more will be on tap. Hope to see you there."

If I were a betting man, I'd bet there is a high likelihood of seeing a big run right before Memorial Day.

HopLab: El Dorado is our newest addition to the series and will be on tap in the brewery tonight during our tour and tasting hours. HopLab: El Dorado is a 8.4% imperial IPA brewed with El Dorado, Mandarina Bavaria and Lemon Drop hops in the kettle and El Dorado, Mandarina Bavaria and Mosaic in the dry hop. The blend of these hops creates tropical fruit, citrus and melon flavors that complements the dark fruit flavors from the small amount of high crystal malts we used in the mash.

El Dorado tastes like what you'd expect.

This is correct. A few ancillary pieces like the off-feed conveyor and other things that we made do without on the first run are in the process of getting installed, and we're running permanent, hard-piped utility connections for air/CO2/water instead of just running hoses from the other side of the brewery. We made it work for the initial setup run, but running long hoses gets in the way of fork lifts and pallet jacks moving around so it's disruptive to the other day-to-day operation of the brewery. We working very hard to get that done ASAP.

I was at the last release of All Green Everything last Saturday and I'm at Kane now drinking triple and Kane triple blows other half out of the water. In my opinion of course.
