Kane Brewing (May 2017)

I had Corduroy Lines after a full day of moving. That thing hit the post and knocked me out for the rest of the night.

 

Only had 1 so far but to me Corduroy Lines tasted more like Cove at Raglan meets Overhead than Waimea Punch

 

does anyone know if they might open earlier on Friday for the long weekend? Appears normally, the brewery opens at 5:00 on Friday. But i'm passing though earlier and hope to pick up some cans.

I checked their facebook page but didn't see any details for tomorrow

I'm not positive, but I think they did last year as I know I stopped on my way down the shore. Think it was one of the first Head High can releases that weekend.

 

Normal 5pm opening for Friday

 

I'm sure you have your reasons, but you guys would get so much more business from me if you opened at noon on Fridays!

 

Maybe a stupid question, but having a hard time finding out info on Kane's site. Do they normally have head high and overhead cans available? Was going to be in the area Saturday and wondering if I would be able to pick them up. Thanks for the info.

 

they'll post on FB what's available but i believe the past few weeks HH and or OH have been available.. Saturday's are generally when they will release something new such as last weeks two cans

 

Facebook is your best bet. As of late, they have usually had one of the following three: Head High, Over Head, Sneak Box.

Saturdays are when they release something other than the aforementioned regulars.

 

Thanks! That is exactly what I was looking for. I am used to can releases here, where if you don't go that day they aren't available.

 

Wouldn't be surprised if more Sneakbox was available soon. The non core 3 cans look like they are a once a month deal right now.

 

Head High Overhead and a new one First Peak available

I really want this but going to be tough to get up there today. 4-4pack limit makes me think there's a little less than usual but are that many people going up there today? Can definitely get up mid-afternoon tomorrow

 

Was just there. Not packed, but a steady flow of people getting assorted 4 packs and some just getting first peak. My guess is it sells out today unless there is another pallet in the box.

 

was there around 12:30 - no lines, wasnt packed but steady stream of people grabbing 4 packs.

side note: shout out to the person who recommended sonny's hot dogs (i think it was in one of these kane monthly threads).

 

At Kane now plenty of First peak left maybe half a pallet.I believe the limit is 4-4 packs per person.But starting to get busier.

 

Still some left. Got my 4 pack and some Morning Bell.

 

Here now. Cooler has plenty of First Peak. Just wheeled out more. Couldn't see. Ack room.

Man DDH head high is killer and corduroy limes is really good too. Solid lineup today.
