I liked it a lot, it was really good and I'd drink it any time they have it

DDH Sneakbox was very good and worth seeking out for the 'gotta catch em all' type, but I had a can of the original and it was amazing. What an underrated beer.

It is rated World-class on this website. Can't rate it higher!

Fair, I guess insofar as ratings go. I meant as far as reputation in the world of the #hypeboyz

I've got a question. Has anybody had bottles of Quarter Sawn lately, and how is it tasting? I was really impressed by Sacre Couer and when Quarter Sawn came out I was excited to try another Quad from Kane. Had one bottle in September when it was released and I thought it was a bit heavy on the red wine. Had another bottle a month or so ago, and the red wine has definitely dropped off, but I was also getting a bit of sour and tartness. I was thinking that it was going towards an Oud Bruin. I'm wondering if some of the "bugs" from the red wine barrels are acting on the beer. Anyone else have a similar experience? I think this could go either really nice towards a sour belgian, or go really wrong. I still have 2 bottles left and I'll see what happens.

Got one in the fridge I'm planning on having soon. They used wild yeast on Quarter Sawn so it was bound to head more towards a sour in nature. Just had my other bottle of heirloom recently and that has gotten fairly tart over time as well.

Similar to you, I had one straight away and then one two weeks ago. Same experience both times with it being outstanding. No tartness as you describe but less tannin and a deeper plum. Wouldn't be shocked if you got a barrel that left a bit more action in the bottle as it turns in time. As we know, barrel tells beer what to do; not the other way around.

In terms of Quarter Sawn and Heirloom, I had my last bottle of Heirloom on Easter, I thought it got better it was really good. I had a Quarter Sawn when I get it and liked it and I have 2 more right now, I should crack one open soon and see where its at. I have one if my fridge and one in my basement

Morning Bell release today at noon. Kinda surprised actually that they posted it THIS early.

Morning Bell, our 9.2% Imperial Milk Porter with @rookcoffee will be released at the brewery today in 750ml bottles starting at noon. Morning Bell is a once-a-year release that is brewed in collaboration with Rook Coffee Roasters of Monmouth County. Morning Bell was brewed with the darkest of their freshly roasted coffees, creating a full bodied porter with big flavor and remarkable smoothness. Lactose added to an already complex malt bill sweetens and balances the bold flavor of Rook’s coffee. $13 a bottle / case limit per person (this was our largest bottling run to date for any beer). We also have a very limited number of Morning Bell Lüttich tulip glasses. $8 per glass. A limited number of kegs will be going out to bars and restaurants next week.

Must be a monster yield to post this early, also sure they want people to be safe.

With so many other releases in the area today, I wonder how long this hangs around

Their last few bottle releases of Sunday Brunch and Morning Bell lasted the day. I think both times I was able to curtsy my way to the back at around 4. I'm sure people will still line up before 10 AM to get a case each.
