If that's the guy with the making it harder for the "locals" stuff, I agree with you. That routine get's so tired. They act like Kane is a surf spot. Locals only brah!

That said, I kind of don't understand why they (kane) are deviating from what was about as perfect system as a brewery can adhere to regarding releases. I'd say there is some relation to earlier notice and further empowering resellers and traders to get their mule squad on line. Which in a way creates more hassles for the normies who only want a bottle or two.

Who will be the intrepid one that braves the deluge to be first in line. I have heard it's a badge of honor. Will be hard to get dry and change clothes to get back for that second case though :grinning:

Im just tired of waiting in line for beer. I wish Kane would release some today (smaller limits to prevent hoarders) and then do 2 bottles a person for 2 or 3 weeks in the tasting room. I would love to stop by Thursday get a case of cans a growler or 2 and then 2 bottles of morning bell.

I was lucky to get some on draft and its great, as usual but no beer is line worthy for me at this point.

Damn, the one Saturday I sleep in. This is one of my favorite beers, but I can't imagine what that line will look like in 2 hours and the rain. Whelp, hopefully they have it on draft at some bars around here that do growlers.

They said it's the largest bottling run they've ever done. It should be around.

Waiting in line is not needed. The yield will last well into the day's retail hours and perhaps a limited amount spills over to tomorrow.

As is typical, a local like me will walk in at 2.30 and be out of there with full supply five minutes later.

Will that be the case? I could probably get there for maybe 2PM, but I have family things to do today and could at most be there for an hour.

The earlier than usual announcement had a lot to do with Rook (being a coffee shop) opening early. It gives them an opportunity to discuss this collaboration with their customers this morning as they come in to get their coffee.

Last year Morning Bell was one of the only (maybe *the* only) releases we pre announced for similar reasons. They put a lot of energy into the collab, special roasts, bringing their staff to the brewery to learn about how morning bell is made, inviting us to the roastery to learn more about their processes etc. It's only fair that they have some opportunity to talk about it publicly while it's still something you can go get, not just after the fact.

Thanks for the explanation, makes sense. I hate to admit it but I forgot about the Rook aspect. Which I shouldn't because it's great coffee.
