Didn't mean to imply anyone was lying. There may very well have been a box that said BA silent nights on it. We'll reuse those boxes when possible, especially just for storage internally. So seeing a box labeled "x" doesn't necessarily mean we have a bunch of "x" sitting around for a pending release.

Ok, now that you cleared this up, can you get someone to change the settings on the Facebook page so that people who don't Facebook can see what is on tap? Please!!!!!

To those that don't do the Facebook thing, why not just create a bogus 'Dummy' account just for stuff like this? I don't do Facebook either so that is what I did. I created an account with a fake name and tightest privacy settings just to follow the brewery stuff (and any other interests).

But I do agree that I would prefer it just be done on Instagram.

What about going real old school and putting the tap list on the website?

    Breaking hearts

coming from a IT and Software background, it takes a lot more to update a running website several times a week than it does to create a new post on a FB account. Although if whomever is in charge of Marketing over at Kane (not Glenn from my memory) can mod the settings it would be visible to all not just FB members. Also Insta/Twitter never a bad idea

Edit: also whomever updates the FB and is in charge of that marketing aspect may have no real knowledge to modding a live website either

Personally I prefer when places just update their Untappd Venue account. I would think that would also be easiest on the brewery/venue.

We checked this last time it was brought up. To the extent that we know what we're doing technically speaking, our settings indicate the page should be visible to everybody.

Facebook account is visible to everybody now. I'll edit the first post next month, strike that, in January. :stuck_out_tongue:

Actually, I was incorrect. You still need a facebook account to see the Kane Facebook page. :slight_frown:

You guys should be able to change your settings so the pages do not require a facebook account. NEBCO is an example of a brewery that changed their facebook page successfully.

Make sure there is no age or country restriction on the business page.

For a page to be visible to the public, all country and age restrictions need to be turned off.

@bryantc3 beat me to it. My guess is it has to do with the age restriction. I think there is even an "Alcohol Related" option. Given that I'm wondering if Kane will want to turn that off due to legal impact.

Yeah same here, but when I checked earlier, I chalked it up to me not knowing where to look.

I doubt there is any legal implication as most breweries have their Facebook pages visible without requiring a Facebook account.

Somebody on here has to have a teenage child who can straighten this whole thing out....

Eh, depends on the cms. Updating a post on a WordPress site is as quick (maybe 10 seconds longer) and easy as updating a facebook post.

But honestly - a picture of the taplist on Instagram would be even easier.

The barrel is not branded. Any bramd markings on the barrel were blanked out before being given to Kane. The rings on the one we got were a little rusty but that is not to hard to fix if you want to.
Also, be aware that when we first opened ours up there were quite a few fruit flies. Still, this is a good deal if you want to make a table or something out of it.
