Kane Brewing (November/December 2018)

Man I’m missing literally every porter/stout/other new release of this season. Not the biggest of deals but I look forward to the day when we can stroll into Kane (or a local store) and buy the Brunches, Bells, etc at our leisure. No lines, no frantic refreshing online at exactly noon on a workday, just buying as easily as Head High is now. Maybe that day will never come, but maybe it will.

 

Can someone give an update of the situation down there periodically, I am going to have my sister go grab me some cans in a bit but dont wanna piss her off if they sell out lol

 

I honestly don't think i tried the draft version, but it's the same concept yes. Morning Bell plus a bunch of Vanilla.

As for some of the questions comments about pre-announcing etc. try not to overthink it or look for reasons. As I've said on here before, we have a lot of beer to get out before the end of the year. We've firmly established there's no one best way to release anything so we try different methods depending on the circumstances (which go far beyond just bottle counts). Friday will likely stir the ire of our neighbors here or create parking concerns, but doing it any other way would have it's own drawbacks too. Pick your poison I guess...

 

I have never been a fan of Malus.
Donut shoppe sounds pretty good for something with a lot going on in that can.

If that happens it’ll make my decision easy to stay away. I could get there at like 11 but if it’s that bad it’s an easy pass. Maybe by some miracle it’s not that bad.

 

Considering a mid-afternoon run...with any luck the line will be short...would hate to drive all that way to just turn around.

Since Kane re-did their website is their tap list accurate and up to date? I noticed they stopped posting on Facebook so assuming so.

 

So with no posts and no updates on IG is it not the crowd we thought was gonna happen I wonder.

 

as per lets talk NJ craft beer on FB it seems like the line is insane and likely over 200 people already from what I read. I'm warm at my desk at work though!

 

I have found it to be semi accurate, pretty quick updates but sometimes something is up for pour that has kicked on a busy weekend, which is understandable

 

It is, they usually have the timestamp on there, too. No major wins on tap today to coincide with release.
