I have a feeling this will be amazing. Vengeful Heart was amazing and got zero notice.

I had a sense Kane was releasing something yesterday, so I was halfway down the parkway when the official announcement was made. I arrived around 12:45, and walked straight to the front of the bottle line - no one was there. I ran into a buddy who only got two bottles because he's "not a fan of barleywines". While I agree, everyone I spoke to who had this at GABF said it was amazing so I got the full allotment.

Opened one yesterday, and noted "OMG. I don't even like barleywines and that is super, super good. Easily the best Barleywine I've ever had." One of the guys I drank it with noted that its like the barleywine version of ANTEAD. Chocolatey, bourbon smoothness. I want to head back down and get more.

Also super impressed that Overhead cans are still available.

The chocolate and vanilla notes seem to come up in a lot of the reviews I've read so far. I strolled in around 1 PM yesterday to pick up just one bottle... In and out in no time. The only barleywine I've had so far that I actually liked was Vengeful Heart, so it sounds like I'm probably in the same boat as you. I may save this bottle for sharing around the holidays though. Sounds like a nice dessert night-capper.

I am shocked Fall Saints is sold out. The last couple years that bottles has lasted months. I wonder if it was a smaller batch.

I would guess that having cans available every weekend increases traffic. If you are there for cans might as well grab a bottle of what's there.

I was there around 3:00 p.m. yesterday. It looked like there was a fair amount of Object Permanence left in the cold case behind the bar.

Wow, me too. I was there Friday (a day too early for the barleywine doh!) and there was a lot of it left. I guess Overhead and the other bottle brought people out.

Yup, they posted this on Facebook yesterday. "The brewery is open today from 12pm to 5pm for tours and tastings. Fall Saints is SOLD OUT but, we do still have some Object Permanence and Overhead cans available"

    Really caught me by surprise.

wow, good for Kane on this one. I assume maybe they did a smaller batch this year. Hopefully i will find on draft in the area.

I wish they posted on twitter/IG their updates. Not having facebook makes it hard to keep up with them at times

They just need to change the settings on their facebook page so that none Facebookers can see it.
